Over the last 18 months I stayed in every luxury hotel in Las Vegas for a minimum of three nights. Considering the rooms, grounds, pools, restaurants, bars/lounges, shopping, location and overall experience - these are the top 10. These are absolutely the best hotels in Las Vegas.

What's up everyone? Remember, this is a list of the best luxury hotels, not the most luxurious hotels - a subtle yet important difference.
This list was so clear and straightforward for me EXCEPT for numbers 3 & 4, which ultimately came down to personal preference based on pools, restaurant portfolio, bars/lounges, freshness, modernness, dexterity and exclusivity.
What's your #1 hotel in Las Vegas?
Where would the Waldorf Astoria sit?
Easy encore all the way
@@JontyConway In terms of sheer class and luxury, it's a solid top 5. It's just so hard to compare full-blown casino/resorts with condo hotels because the attributes and metrics are completely different.
I think you nailed it with the top10 - the order was pretty close for me, would move a couple around on the list. For the #1, you are spot on. Wynn/Encore no question is the best luxury hotel, and my favorite in Vegas. Great video, as always.
@@Coolist I'm an idiot! missed you mentioning it in the beginning. Thanks :)
James what I really appreciate about you, is that you do these amazing videos as a single person. I was single for many years after getting divorced, so I know what it is like to travel alone. It is rewarding but also hard at the same time. I believe your videos inspire people who are alone, to get out there and travel. For those who are alone at the moment, don't let being alone hold you back... just get out there and live your best life.
I did a lot of solo travel in 2021 and I agree with your statement
good luck to you Richard; the world is your oyster !
Thanks for the encouragement! Making my first solo trip to Vegas, super excited!
Well, yeah if you struggle with picking up women or networking.
@@agreatmannamedlieu I don't struggle with either of those issues. I've now got an amazing wife and an awesome life. But I was alone for while. A lot of people are alone for one reason or another, and that number is growing. So I have compassion for those who are going through that in their lives.
YO! Love how concise your reviews are! You get straight to the point, provide each place on the list an opportunity to shine, and you don't add any fluff to inflate the length of your video. Well done!
My man I really appreciate your channel. You have taste and your reviews are properly honest and on-point. Even if our lists might be slightly different your rationale is always there. Not like some YT travel videos who just like everything they see and clearly don't understand luxury hotels and how to evaluate them. Also you know how to enjoy and travel well, unlike some vloggers who clearly go to bed at 9p when in Vegas.
Very interesting how you rated these properties. You really did your homework. I only stay at Wynn Encore . You can get nice rooms and good service in any luxury hotel but Wynn Encore take it to the next level . Every inch of that property is thought out and every restaurant is superb . As I have written before Mizumi is phenomenal. Nicely done
Nice job, everything was relevant and straightforward to the point, much appreciated.
Good vlog. Ty for sharing always informative đ
Totally agree with Wynn/Encore. First time I stayed there I couldnât believe how nice it was. And the best part, the staff made me feel welcome. Thatâs what keeps me coming back. I am not just a customer there; Iâm a guest.
Man I love your Vegas content so much! As someone who needs to spend a lot of time there in my near future for work, I really appreciate your takes on these resorts! Thank you
The best review ever, thank you! Concise, informative and honest. Planning to visit LV later this year so this has been really helpful.
Great list thank you for the detailed perspectives
I think your list is spot on! Iâm glad you put Crockfords at #3, their suites are just insanely nice. I personally love staying there but I donât think they quite beat the top dogs Venetian/Palazzo and Wynn/Encore.
I stumbled across your channel a week ago. Love your work in your videos. Keep it up. You make it feel like Iâm watching sports highlights
Welcome bro đ€
As someone who has worked several years at Wynn, Encore, Resorts World (opening)- this list is pretty spot on. I couldnât agree more and the reasons are legit. Youâve done your research sir.
Another fantabulous stream! Informative and I find you soothing.
This is very interesting to see as a local! I enjoy Cromwell as well. The rooms are fantastic as is the rooftop pool. Also while sitting at the bar at Giada's she walked right by me! Thanks for your videos!
Great list. Well done, as usual!
Straight to the point review. Great video!
Love your choices, great presentation!
Encore was life changing for me. Anyone can throw a nice hotel together, but for me itâs about quality, service, and experience. How it makes you feel. At encore I feel like Iâm the only person there. It seems like a group effort there, I donât have one server, itâs more like a team there. The only thing I canât figure out is that I saw their pet menu and apparently they are no pet. I have a teacup chihuahua and Iâm there all the time. The kennel is good and the people are nice it would just be cool if I could bring her once, idk thatâs kinda controversial to bring pets but I can see why.
The Pro-pet policy at Wynn didn't last long...
@@Coolist lol thereâs a big difference between me with a hairless 3 lb teacup in my hand and someone showing up drunk with a frozen cocktail in their hand and a couple of Dobermanâs, though they sound fun.

I thank you so much! You got a follower! You really do care for your audience!
Superb editing and calm confident voice work. Bravo.
Thank you for sharing đ
Excellent list! We are very partial to the Venetian/Palazzo! For such a large resort they do so much right from rooms to dining and the casino!
Great summary!
What an awesome video!
My family used to stay exclusively at the Wynn/encore back in the day when encore was still being built. They mustâve sold my moms info to Venetian/palazzo cause we got a mailer and never looked back. Been staying at Palazzo exclusively for over 12 years now. Itâs my absolute favorite and we have the best hosts. Now that Iâm of gambling age my friends absolutely love the resort and it changed their minds from its just a place to sleep to now your hotel experience actually matters haha. Side note, I occasionally stay at cosmo cause some friends prefer that scene and you were spot on w your review. Gotta check back in on Wynn/encore one day tho.
Thank you ! Awesome video , I was not aware the Cosmo had balconies
So helpful as we plan!
Great video!
Outstanding, James. Thank you! CABđ
Thanks CAB đ€
Another succinct and well executed video! I would like you to do a top 10 night clubs for non-bottle service guests. That would be nice to see particularly for the younger crowd.
Great list James, no surprises at the top.
Thank you for your List..i like it..Mandalay is where we always stays whenever in Vegas.
Will try everyone on the list soon..
I've done 3 out of your 10. Cosmopolitan, Venetian and the Circa. All from your recommendations James! đ
Agreed. I have been so very fortunate to stay both at Wynn and Encore. It was splendid!!!
Your information is very helpful because you donÂŽt try to get upgrades etc being a vlogger. Btw, your vids are very enjoyable - Thank you
incredibly well done!!!!!
Haha. Exactly my top 2 in the same order. Great job on video
Completely agree my brother!
Those are some really solid picks đ
Really good list. I for the most part agree with it as a whole. Only thing I think you have to take into consideration is where you want to spend your time. For me I always end up at Cosmo.. I love the bars, the casino and that there are some affordable restaurants. So even tho I can see Wynn is much nicer, I am not as drawn to wynn or may of the others mentioned. But the good news is that all of them are awesome so everyone can decide for themselves ha
Stayed at the Encore in March.. beautiful and definitely going back
I lived in Las Vegas 9 years. I can't argue with the list
i have never been there but before i go i will check in with you,as i am sure many people do!
iâm staying at cromwell in august for my bday im exciteddd
My first time in Vegas in 2021 I stayed at the Venetian and it was incredible. I'm returning to Vegas this August and will be staying at the Palazzo one bedroom suite for my friend's bachelor party
You made it even harder to choose which hotel. We love them all. đ đ
Excellent video. To the point, great shots. Would you please elaborate on how the best luxury hotels differs from the most luxurious hotels? For example, are they "best" because, for the money, they are still luxurious? I am confused though because when someone says the best luxury hotels, many would indeed logically expect the most luxurious, so it would make the video even more awesome if you verbalized the distinction. Would you please reply with the distinction? (Forgive me please if I missed it you explaining the distinction somewhere.).
Good list. Wynn/Encore are definitely #1. Outside of that, I agree with the groupings (2-4 interchangeable, 5-7 interchangeable, ect.), if not the exact placement.
I really like how you phrased this comment.
The rooms are so nice at Bellagio, the Solan Suits are reasonably prices, jetted tub, free wifi and lower resort fees then most. Its center strip great location. I cannot say enough about it. I really find no other reason to try other hotels. Wynn is my second choice but they charge like $25.00 per night for wifi which I have always hated. I have never had a bad stay at Bellagio.
I was very impressed with your ranking.
I stayed at the Venetian and Palazzo! It was so amazing and those rooms were huge!
How recently did you stay at Venetian? Going in July with family. Is it clean? Any issues?
That was very well done. He knows his stuff ! I want to book Vegas April 23 ..Age 60 active Love how Cira looks n vibe but feel to old. Also looking for good deal ratewise...this is very helpful.
I like how an ad was looped into being the number one choice here
I like how this comment still proves there's a need for a higher educational system.
Thanks alot for all that info. Many youtubers waste time (4 ex) by explaining how many garbage cans hotel has and it's amazing how fast you explained with all useful info
Damn bro u must be living ur best life staying at these places i can only imagine the trouble ya got into ;) hahahaah great video cheers!
They all look Great. But the balcony view the cosmopolitan hotel offersđ€đœđĄđŒ
Was seeing this woman who had never been to Las Vegas ( Took her to Wynn to Stay )
Walking through Mandelay Bay I ran into Pete Rose signing Autographs LOL... Surreal moment for a baseball fan.
I give the nod to Palazzo for all the reasons you list, but also the gigantic Canyon Ranch fitness center at Venetian that is free to all guests. Now its time for you to review those off strip casinos like M Resort, South Point, Red Rock, Green Valley, etc... It's like discovering an entire new Vegas.
Crockfords vs Waldorf Astoria? Thinking of going for 1 night. We are not heavy gamblers and love Cosmo. I have Hilton points to cover the entry King room for either so just wondering. Also thinking of going cheap and doing the Hilton at Resorts World as it's 30K points less. Any thoughts.. (btw next trip to Cancun would love to see an update on the JW vs Kempski vs Westin.
Service at Wynn/Encore is the best. They make everyone feel VIP.
I stayed at Hilton resort world earlier this month .. the bed was super comfortable I couldn't believe I fell asleep all night which is strange to me that I usually can't sleep in the hotel bed...đ
Caesars, Encore, Bellagio and Aria for me.
All the hotels look fantastic Iâm planning on going for the first time this year and wanted a hotel in the middle of the strip. Any recommendations
I keep forgetting there are so many really, really nice hotels in Las Vegas because I am always on such a tight budget when I go there!! Maybe someday...đ
I was a little disappointed with my 5 night stay (vacation) at the Wynn this past June. When I first arrived I parked the rental car in the garage and entered the building with my suitcase. Security quickly approached me and said they needed to search my tactical suitcase to make sure there were no weapons (I travel with a large Pelican 1620 case as my suitcase). I had to lay my case on the floor in the middle of the walkway, open it up for all to see, and let security rifle through my clothes. While the security officer was polite, professional, and apologized for the inconvenience I was still embarrassed and was left with a negative impression for the rest of my stay. If they had led me to a side room or somewhere out of public view then I wouldâve felt much better about the ordeal.
considering the recent history you can't blame them and using a pelican case for a suitcase in Vegas is a silly idea
you have to respect that they're trying to prevent tragedies from ever happening again
Was looking forward to staying at Caesers but got there and the room was gross. Went down to the front desk to cancel my stay as I didn't want to switch rooms only for it to be the same and waste everyones time. First time I'd ever cancelled a room. The front desk was super understanding but I was bummed as I had always wanted to stay there.
Would have been nice to include the price range for these hotels.
The Wynnâs location puts me off from staying there again. Cosmo is my go to for location and vibe.
Palms is my favorite thus far
they're the epitome of top tier modern era style
As you are not a gambler you should be made aware of what makes the Palazzo-Venetian the most special property in town. In a stadium setting where hundreds can play they have LIVE DEALER $5 baccarat, roulette, and blackjack. This is a huge advantage for players. Bet low when it's going bad, bet more when your hot. Combine this with all the amenities you mentioned and you have the the best place to play in town. You should do a video featuring the best places to gamble. Thank You.
Hey James, Iâll be travelling to Vegas solo for the first time. Any suggestions for solo travel?
I am telling you Bellagio is the best for solo people I have found. Just has a different vibe. Some of the other like Aria are really couple driving IMO. Bellagio has free wifi, center strip and decent rates. I always stay at the Solon Suite which is a really nice room. Its also not too noisy. I have never had an issue with the noise at the Bellagio.
James, aka, Mr. Las Vegas!
Number 3 was my favorite.
Stayed at all these properties and Without a doubt, Wynn/Encore is #1
I would easily have Cosmo over Aria and Bellagio. Maybe above V/P as well. I've stayed several times at all of them. Only haven't stayed at Wynncore, which I'll be staying at next week.
Great video, but what about Four Seasons and Waldorf?
Did you miss the first 30 seconds where I addressed that or are you wondering if Iâm going to do a dedicated condo hotel ranking?
I saw videos for the other hotels, but not those...
I had to laugh when you said âyoung energetic sexy crowdsâ for the Cosmo. I went there once and ate a plate of Hattie Bâs fried chicken while sitting in that bathtub on one of the upper levels. Obviously you mustâve seen me there đ
I love Las Vegas
the M resort? Green Valley Ranch? Red Rock hotel?
havent you done different variations of this same list?
if youÂŽd have included the different prices, the vlog wouldÂŽve been perfect... but maybe next video ? ))
I love the Venetian, but I can say that I had a terrible experience at Palazzo. Bellagio will always be my number one I wouldâve expect the Bellagio at least in top three.
As a comped player at the MGM properties I always choose the Aria over the Bellagio. While the Bellagio hotel is great the casino is very meh for a hotel of its stature. Aria casino blows Bellagio's out the water imo. Way more hip, higher cielings, better games, livelier bars, more likely to play alongside celebrities, etc.
im planning on going for my bday in oct didnt know how i can start paying on my air fare and hotel
you know your stuff, nicest room to stay in in LV would you say as i like to eat in a lot?
Wynn/Encore - their room service menu is sensational.
You forgot the MGM mansions and Skylofts đ
No Circus Circus, NY NY, or TI??
đ„đ„đ„đ„đ„
I agree with your top 3. Aria and Cosmo however have gone downhill. The best MGM property on the strip is quite easily Vdara for me. Guaranteed a good night's sleep and the rooms are solid.
i like mandalay bay vibes
Ya Venetian my favorite in Vegas
I had bellagio much lower. I LOVE the Wynn.
Obviously Bellagio is my favorite but I was surprised Cosmo wasn't higher on your list, I feel like you had it rated higher in a previous timeframe. Really enjoyed your Resorts World videos, you really had a great time. Good to see after so many reviews were negative when it opened. I agree that Caesars has really dropped off, my visit in September was disappointing, although I did not stay there. Thank you for the time and effort you put into these!!!
The pool thing at Caesarâs is nuts. Are they still charging people hundreds of dollars for chairs or stand?? Crazy.
Cosmo has a great location and the best views, but their service isn't all that great. It's also a noisy property especially if you get a party or noisy neighbors on a terrace neighboring yours (even from inside). Then there's their security... horrific and lots of stories there. If a Wraparound Terrace with Fountain View is available though in the Boulevard Tower though, that is definitely one of their best, and the noise can likely be mostly avoided.
I agree with Bellagio, it the best location, reasonably priced still has free wifi and lower resort fees. Excellent room service also.
I appreciate the info, but man, that wide angle lens pan on a big screen sure makes for some motion sickness moments.
you need to stay in the future at DUBAI CITY MEGARESORT At LAS VEGAS NEVADA
I have all these mgm points i want to use at the Cosmo but i still canât pisses me off đ©
am lucky, I have been to Venice (Italy) and the Venetian, Bellagio and Bellagio (Italy), Paris and Paris (France) - well, flew over it actually.........
Yeah, without a doubt I still consider Wynn/Encore the very best among them, and that's coming from someone who also really loves Resorts World and most others listed here as well. đ
I have a feeling Fontainebleau next year will be Wynn/Encore's staunchest competition yet in defending their title. Hopefully the former at the very least lives up to the hype if not leapfrogs them. đ I have my doubts the forthcoming Dream will be a most threatening contender, but I can be proven wrong there too for sure and hope I am. đ„°
I agree about Wynn/Encore, it's awesome. I'm also curious about Fontainebleau. I'm just not crazy about the location. Encore is already too far north on The Strip for my personal tastes (I realize Resorts World is even farther though).
Have you been back to Wynn since they remodeled the rooms? They did such a good job on the remodel and really elevated an already amazing room.
I'll be back at Wynn (my favorite spot) in a couple weeks and dining at 3 of my favorite restaurants: Wing Lei, SW & Delilah. Looking forward to it.
I'm going to hold off on my Wynn comments for now.
