$149 seems really pricey to me, especially since it had so many tiny products.
The skin vibrating gold thing was eight dollars on the ipsy store earlier. It's one of those things companies buy really cheap In bulk from China and just make up any price they want To beef up the price of advent calendars and boxes.
Tarte used to make a pineapple polish face scrub that I absolutely love, they stopped selling it & I just finished the last little bit I had, I'm definitely going to check out the Wishful pineapple scrub. I just got a free Sample of that Aveda product in the mail, I got a sponsored ad on IG for it, that definitely shouldn't be in the box. Haha, my dad is a big truck mechanic and he loves bag balm 😂😂Some of the products were good but with the broken ones, the dried out perfume balm, and the sponge for day 25 it was just ok. This isn't my box but I'm happy it was better than they've been in the past. Thanks for sharing
I hate when brands discontinue an item I love. Its a pet peeve of mine. Lol Glow recipe had this banana cream that I loved and they got rid of it. So annoying. But yes this is soooo much better than last years calendar. Last year had more sample sizes than full sizes and that was a huge turn off for me. I think Ipsy really listened to the feedback last year and I feel like they made changes for the better. But we will find you a calendar still! :)
Love the Bag Balm 🤣 My dad bought some for my mom as a Vaseline alternative back probably in 1999 or before and we STILL have it. I swear it's bottomless.
That's also what I have heard!! Lol I have a life time supply now with 2 of them in 1 month.
I wish these calendars had more holiday themed items.

Bag balm is awesome I used it onn my daughters yeast diaper rash it takes it away rash on butt from diaper burn sore get a cut out that one it’s amazing like neosporin vasaline etc all together

Omg they should have put a really good palette for the last day. I’m kinda bummed when you look back on it but there were some good items in there I just wished there were all full sized products 🌸

For ipsy this is a good calendar. But I was let down too, with the last product.
My Lottie London quad all came broken too .. well this was an ok advent calendar..
I started making my own Advent calendar. Throughout the year I put aside things from my Ipsy and FabFitFun /products I can wait on. And I wrap them individually and just pull out one each day. By the time the end of the year gets here I forgot what I had 😂. This year I've been storing them in that duffle bag from FabFitFun we just got 😂😂

This calendar overall, for Ipsy. The as pretty good….aside from the last box being a sponge lol

Agreed! A sponge for Christmas?!? Should have been the moisturizer. Turned me off the calendar!

Leave it to Ipsy to start with a sheet mask and end with a sponge. I will definitely be passing on this calendar. The same recycled products as usual. I didn’t see much of anything to make it worth it to me. Still love watching your cheerful unboxing even if I think Ipsy dropped the ball again lol
I think it’s ok not worth the value or what they say it’s worth up to $600 value??? It’s ok IMO. I wouldn’t purchase it. But, Ty for sharing - I hope they make good on the damaged items. Last door was a total let down totally agree. Yr hair looks great, as always! Love it! ❤❤

I'm glad your happy with this calendar Sydney, but THREE broken products and a sponge for the LAST door!?!?!?! Oh girl, I've seen all your calendars so far (I think, at least most of them anyway) and MY companies client has to be the one that is sending out broken products 🤦♀️ I'm so sorry, those palettes should have been better protected, everything should be checked for expiration dates and why are we not building UP IN SIZE!?!??!!

Thanx! And yesss! I know. First calendar that had any broken items in it. But I don't think they broke in the calendar. I don't know maybe they did, but I almost feel like it was broken before it ever shipped to me. But also the sponge. Like come one. No one is going to be happy with that. That needed to be day 2. Right after the sheet mask. And then have a banger of a product at the end. Like a huge palette or something.
I bought this one weeks ago and it's been sitting unopened in my closet. I just haven't been excited for it. Seeing it now, I think it's okay, but I totally the sponge did NOT belong under door 25! What were they thinking?! I really would have loved to have seen a fragrance under door 25. Even if that meant a few less full size products. Just my preference. I hope Ipsy resolves your damaged items!

I just got that skin inc face massaging tool from Ipsy and it wouldn’t work so they gave me a $5 refund😢
Make sure you put the battery in the right way! Not sure if that will help or not. But I put mine in upside down and it didn't work. Then I flipped it and it turned on for me. But maybe you tried that too! Just thought I would mention it. 🙃
All of these products have either come in prior Boxy Charm boxes or have been for sale on their drop sale. My mauve LottieLondon palette was broken to and I received that back in the spring.
I recently signed up for the glam bag, literally just to get into the drop shop…the bags suck! Lol I’ve tried changing my profile over and over and it’s never good lol

Not bad at all, but a sponge as the grand finale? Bad choice. They did have a few good brands.

Your hair looks amazing 👏 ivw never had my hair done at Aveda because ive heard its super $$$. Not a terrible box, def not worth $600, they over hyped the value. 2 broken items is unacceptable they better make it right with you. Sponge in last box was a joke. Elemis, Glam Glow not bad, but everything else didnt seem worth it to me

If you look up all of the products and add them up you'll see that they inflated the price especially for the face massager that you can purchase for $1.50 wholesale and they priced it for over $100🤦♀️🙄

I am looking for a advent. Calendar mostly skincare a few makeup items would be oka and i want more full size items it dont ave to be a 24 or 25 day calender it could me like 12 days do you have any in mind
Better than last year but too many samples for the price. Love the Elemis. For the cost, they could have taken better care in packaging, and they'd better replace those damaged products. And what's with the sponge? That's insulting. Sorry Sydney, it's a pass.

They should have put the sponge in the first door & worked up to that Elemis for day 25. Lame, Ipsy! And I mean, come on. For the amount of money they charged, there shouldn't be any fillers. Shame on Ipsy.

I think it was a great calendar just like you I’m dumb struck door 24 sucked , wth, whose doing the organizing of products …….?
Right?! Whoever chose to lay it out like that, I think messed up big time. It's such a dumb item for the end of the calendar. It needed to be #2 next to the sheet mask. lol
Before I even clicked the play arrow, I thought….Ok, let’s see how many are face masks, mascaras, and sponges and let’s see how many items are damaged or how many items (tweezers) are going to be full sized products. Glad I didn’t purchase this calendar. Seems high priced considering what you get.

Why are you not showing swatches of the products?
Because for advent calendars I do not have time too. It takes me 45 minutes to actually film a calendar. Then I have to edit it down to 20 or 25 minutes. But my viewers statistically will not watch videos over 15 minutes. On this video right now the average view time is 8 minutes. Most of my viewers want a quick view and show everything fast. But its really hard to do since there are 26 items in this calendar. I try to keep it to less than a minute for each item.

You have to know the prices on these full size items. I will try and break it down a bit for you to see the value.
Elemis marine cream is $98 on the elemis website.
Huda Beauty legit lashes mascara- $31 at sephora
KVD liner- $23 at Ulta
ABH highlighter stick- $34 at Sephora
In 4 products I have $186 value. That more than pays for the box. And out of 25 days, 18 of the items are full size. That means 72% of the box is full size items.
All of these things, make this a quality box. And the reason why I stand by my recommendation. Full size products, name brand items, and value for money spent. And no, this is not sent to me for free. I have never worked with Ipsy on any of their products. I paid for this box with my own money.
I am not impressed! Three damaged products, face mask, plastic hair ties and a sponge out of 25/26 items! So approximately 25% junk!
Terrible and the shades aren't universal for all skin complexions.
Not a Christmas style, not worth almost 700.00 retail. Huge pass
