When I'm putting my designs on something, I use a small piece of white baking paper, that way you can see where you want it, and once its in place, jst take away the paper & it's in the place you want it.
Could you mirror the vinyl and put it under the glitter/resin mix so you don’t have to resin the top too? It seems like having resin on front and back would make it heavy. Oh that glitter though!😍😍😍😍😍
Yes you could, keep in mind acrylic blanks scratch pretty easy, sometimes I just use Dimensional Magic an give it a thin coat to protect it - I also like the shadow it gives using the 2 different sides
I’ve done it both ways. I find I don’t sand it down much anymore and the resin seems to hold. Technically it’s probably the correct thing to do. But I’ve scratched it up and still had the resin peel.
Usually a good few minutes depending on the weather. There is no real good answer. If it’s sunny out I only cure it a minute or so then let it sit in the sun. It cures better and faster in direct sunlight. If not usually a good 3 minutes. It also depends on the light and the strength of the light :) the black bottle is UV resin. It may have needed a little extra in spots.
Technically yes. I don’t know how long it will take. But sometimes I find if they are still tacky after 5 min under the lamp I will put them in the window for 20 minutes and it really hardens them up.
dark color is from Glitter Babes (online retailer) - color is Caramel Medium color is from Recollections (micheals) - color champagne Goldish color is Martha Stewart (micheals) Florentine Gold
Hi Sylvie, I carefully go around the hole with the resin, and if I accidently cover it, poke it through before I cure it - using a toothpick or tweezers :)
Is say up to 5 minutes. Depending on how much glitter you add. If it’s sunny sometimes I put it in the window for a few minutes. It works better than the lights.

@@AnDIYcraft I did not even think about that. Thanks!
Where do you get the machine for circut from?
😘
I’ve seen others sand down the acrylic. Do you have to sand down the acrylic or is it optional?

How long do you cure in your machine, and what is in the black bottle that you use to seal at the end?

Can I keep the Uv resin work under direct sunlight gor curing rather than using torch/lamp?

@@AnDIYcraft Really helpful. Thank you so much for responding🙂
Where did you get the glitter and what colors are they?😍😍
dark color is from Glitter Babes (online retailer) - color is Caramel

I don’t understand something... you seem to cover the hole with resin, but yet there it is once it is cured... Beautiful though!
Hi Sylvie, I carefully go around the hole with the resin, and if I accidently cover it, poke it through before I cure it - using a toothpick or tweezers :)
If you do accidentally cure resin in the hole, use a bead reamer to clear the hole.
How long to dry with glitter
Is say up to 5 minutes. Depending on how much glitter you add. If it’s sunny sometimes I put it in the window for a few minutes. It works better than the lights.
Are these stickers? It’s hard to tell with no voice
These are vinyl decals that I cut with my cricut. Stickers or paper sealed with modge podge before the resin will also work.
@@AnDIYcraft Thank you so much, they are beautiful
What size blanks are you using?
On this one I used 3” blank and the small one is a 1.5”
@@AnDIYcraft thank you
