When the Ferrari and the Porsche payments are catching up with you and you need to get another job. 😂
He's funded by his rich daddy!
Am I the only one completely astounded with the knowledge call out?
All 20k London Black Taxi drivers can do that. Londons Finest.
That guy calling out that route was nothing short of amazing. That's one of the most amazing things I have ever seen in my life.
“I’m a stripper” best moment 😂
"They just can't get enough mate"
It's Joel my name is Joel to
lol
1:33 - 3:27 Is the most impressive thing I have ever seen in my life.
Everyone going on about Gumball, and here you are doing something VERY different! Very cool video, mate!
Winnipeg Car Life once a year gumball with supercars or a fat, black diesel taxi… 🤔 tough choice. 😂
Stewie's Tube nothing wrong with it at all. But with Mr JWW, Vehicle Virgins, and Shmee (of the youtubers i watch), i'll have plenty of gumball content
Great video.
A bit different but fun to watch.
That guy calling the route was one of the most insanely impressive things I have ever witnessed. However, and I don't want to sound like an asshole, but isn't that incredible talent pretty much unnecessary and redundant in the age of sat-nav? Can anyone explain why it is still necessary to know absolutely all the routes in this day and age. But still, like I said, impossibly impressive. Buy that guy a round.
M Crisp but that's what something like waze does best, any detours or whatever are put in by users and then it brings up another route. So again, is it really that necessary when the technology exists? For example, I went to Tokyo a few months ago for the first time and used waze exclusively to get around and it worked perfectly. I may be ignorant to some obvious detail, but I just don't see the point.
Professionalism. not having to waste time with people spelling names of roads etc. maybe they dont know the exact address? i can think of many reasons why sat nav is not as effective.
I don't even know that many places let alone in order of directions
cartman2dk I kinda get what you mean, but still...
sucksqueezebangblow It takes far too long to enter an address into a sat nav.You gave to collect your customer then head to the drop off point immediately.
God, I thought you were going to be in an episode of 'Fake Taxi' for a moment there!! 🤣
Fake Taxi
Drowzee Insomnio ah... I wanted to make that comment XD
I hear Girls have a bald guy fetish
sammy sins
At least now with electric taxis, you can hear the conversation more clearly. Just sayin'
😂😂😂😂😂😂
While other guys are doing gumball, youre doing......this. cheers lad
Jkinsg92 this isnt content😂 this is fill up
This shit is way more interesting than the Gumball to be honest. I'd rather watch this and his podcasts with Tony than Gumball stuff.
Nice vid my dad is a London taxi driver with a green badge , my dad has a LEVC in white
The wheel, the screen, the gear lever, the buttons are the same as in new Volvos, interesting.
Andreas Geely, the company that makes these new taxis, owns Volvo, that's why it looks the same, because it is. Good spot.
It means drivers will be safe even without a seat belt.
The company that makes these, Geely also owns Volvo. The dash and the seats are supposed to be same as the Volvos and the Engines come out of one too. And the EV knowledge will go to Volvo.
Sits on the XC90 Platform.
That backseat camera angle reminds me of Fake Taxi lmao
Impressive!
Last time I took an Uber he messed up and rode in circles twice before finally finding the street we were on.
Then drove completely past us. 2nd time around we halted him standing on the street (hoping he wasn't looking on his navi display, but keeping his eyes on the road).
Asking him what the hell he was up to of course he was unable to communicate with us in English... I'm glad London cabbies are held to a certain standard! Again: impressive!
you get what you pay for. Uber is the cheapest minicab option in London, you can't expect more for slavery rates the poor and non trained drivers earn to feed their families.
As an expat living in Vancouver since 2013, there’s something really enjoyable about being back in London and taking a long (but hopefully fast moving) black cab journey across the city. Refamiliarizing myself with the sights and sounds of London and the heartbeat of the city. The cabbies always impress me both in terms of their Knowledge and their friendliness.
brother, i salute you for being the only person doing something different with their "car review" show. everyone else is saying "look at my brand-new car!!" like its fucking price is right. thank you for thinking outside the box with your content, can't imagine how many gumballl 30000 videos i have seen. lol.
I was surprised yesterday when my grandfather told me he was gifting me and my twin brother a trip to London in December, 2020!
Our state university basketball team, the University of Kentucky Wildcats, have their first ever London college basketball game against the University of Michigan Wolverines, December 5th, 2020.
We were both blessed to have my papaw and my mamaw, who recently passed 09/09/19, allowing us to experience so many things outside our little town in Southeastern Kentucky.
Having became my grandmothers caregiver January-July last year, 2019 was God awful, and I'm still here living with my papaw....mamaw asked I take care of him (58 years of marriage, cooking, laundry) and start going back to church (started the first Sunday after her services, joined the membership).
So maybe coincidence it was in the church parking lot he surprised me yesterday, maybe it was my mamaw smiling down. All I know is I'm beyond fortunate and extremely lucky.
These black cabs and their genius drivers is a little fact of knowledge I've had for years and the qualifications to me is mind-blowing.
So if anyone has any suggestions on what is a must see, I'd be happy to hear from ya.
I've also thought about since my departure back home isn't definite as far as date, maybe venturing into Europe; bypassing France since we've both been and heading to an unknown destination.
That was hilarious...!!
And I never knew London taxi drivers need to know the route by heart... Mind blown...
Excellent Sam, enjoyed this, creative and original content not that I'd expect anything else from you 👍👍
That was a brilliant video, Sam. Your channel is amazing with some really exciting, fun varied content at the moment.
Absolutely loved this Sam - and as a fellow Brit I had a huge smirk on my face all the way through! Keep up the awesome content ❤️
Good man Sam. I'm a Dublin cabbie. Uber drivers have nothing on the pro's. You get what you pay for. Respect to the London drivers. Great cab's. The future is still bright for the LDN cabbie.
This makes a change from the usual wrap n crap the other London CZcamsrs upload. Well done son!
Awesome video. Love the effort you are putting into your videos. Great work
That cab driver blew my mind.
Love what you’ve done with ‘Peng Life’ good to see you on the television! Keep up the hard work 👌🏾
I have a new appreciation for the skill involved in taxi driving. Thanks for raising awareness of this Sam!!!
Great video as always. It's interesting to see the parts they have taken from the Volvo parts bin when making this new London Taxi with both LEVC and Volvo being owned by Geely
The line "I'm a stripper" had me in stitches 👍🏼😆 But wow, the knowledge they have of the roads in London blew my mind... Massive respect 😊
Usually the only that silences me in these car vlogger videos is a after market Aventador at full chat..... but that human Waze had me stunned😱
Splendid video on the hybrid taxis !
When you see the drivers area of the LEVC it really does make it obvious that LEVC and Volvo have the same parent company. The switch gear and buttons are all lifted straight out of Volvos, the twist knob ignition is also a Volvo thing
Love this! Not just wraps and exhaust's like other channel's.
Top job.
I m a national express driver in London BUT I must say that I do respect a lot black cabs ...
Truely impressive!
I love it how you bring different content compared to other CZcamsrs!!
Like the direction you're taking the channel. Refreshing!
EXCELLENT video, with some real PROPER content. Showing that there is no need for click bait, or dragging out a video to ten minutes
Awesome video! So different and ultimately brilliant
Actually, very informative! Loved the video as always Sam!
I'm never taking an uber in london again. Amazing well done Sam for showing this!!
This was a great insight on taxi drivers. Thanks seen through glass
Love the variety on this channel
Something different and something fun! An entertaining cabbie with a great insight and that knowledge test, just impressive and mental!
YOUR BEST VLOG YET!!!!! YOU'VE GOT A GREAT KNACK FOR THE ADLIB.
I sit here with my pint of Baileys and enjoyed the hell out of this video, I kinda feel like being a bike tech and having to remember where 100s of parts bolts and washers go back together is abit of a memory game, but remembering every street and length in London well that's mighty impressive :).. Well done #STG :)
My next door neighbour is a retired cabby, the guys calling the route is displaying Rainman savant levels of memory..amazing! I now see why my friend stopped going out at night and doing the routes and the runs before he got to this stage. Like most people he didn't think he would make it.
Different and mildly interesting. Huge respect for the student doing his knowledge. Phenomenal!
Great video mate👍🏻 Coming to London as a tourist the cab rides are something you look forward to. Can’t say that about many other places in the world!
And that, is why your videos are a cut above the rest ! Very enjoyable. cheers :)
That looked like a lot of fun to drive the new taxi. I guess you've got to drive a London bus now to compare the two...
Driving bus would be dead easy compared to doing the knowledge hahaha :)
One of those electric Taxis was next to me charging at Halbeath near Dunfermline. Looks like an absolute tank.
This guy is the f.. master!!! I’m still laughing 😂. You have to invite him another time to make more videos.
Always fun to watch you Sam ✌🏻🇬🇧
Actually loving the content atm one of the best automotive entertainers
Love the diversification of your vids👍🏻
on a side note - wheres the black cabbie cockney accent school?
GREAT CONTENT! I remember my first trip to London and the Taxi Driver took me on a nice tour and told me all about the Kray Brothers ... awesome ... I actually lost my wallet in his taxi and he brought it back to me after a passenger gave it to him...
Ahh man! Love that shirt :P Great video as per usual. Utmost respect to those cab drivers.
Great video with some comedy :) Looking forward to the next one....
Fantastic video
Great video and perfectly edited, would not look out of place on TV.
As usual STG doing it differently to everyone else and winning!
Can't wait for john to upgrade and make this his new fake taxi.
Whilst other people are flooding around gumball rally.here is Sam doing something real and different.I love what you did mate.great video enjoyed it.
Good one! Focusing on Londons unsung heros. The new cab is a huge improvement over the last model.
Top Vlogger!!! Bringing completely new automotive content :) really interesting!! Everybody doing gumball... you make a London cab looks way more interesting that’s knowledge :)
Wow, I took a taxi in London some weeks ago when I was there and I can't believe they know the whole city. I thought he was using GMaps as any normal person but now that I think about it, nope he was not. Thanks for sharing this knowledge
Yet another great video Sam. Always nice to see different things on your channel, not just stupidly expensive Supercars. Keep up the good work, and keep practising your cockney slang! 😂
Good press for them with everything thats been going on with uber, very impressed!
That camera set-up at the passenger seat looks like familiar to me. 😂
Too funny! It would be fun to see you as a cabby for a day and video the different clientele you would pick up. Your banter would be classic. Do it!
Great Video. It used to be similar to that in Australia many years ago and the drivers knew where they were going. Today most dont even seem to speak English.
Sam: We just had Tutto Italiano at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline, just near Boston, last weekend. You should come next year. It is truly impressive with Alfas , Lancias, Maseratis. Lambos, Abarths, Ferraris and also motorcycles of all ages and vintages,. It is a lawn event and very popular.
An interesting video, good watch. Incredible navigation skills too 😲
Something very different from you Sam but it was brilliant and fun to watch. Well done!
All the other guys are putting stickers on supercars for 20 minutes while Sam is doing quality content. Good job mate - this is some of the best car content on CZcams! I almost don't miss the old days of Top Gear when watching this 😀
This is why I love Sam he is so entertaining.... You don't see any other automotive youtubers driving taxis ☺☺☺
This is quality content. Compared to what "youtubers" like TGE and Archie are doing it's night and day.
That's incredible learning those routes
Knowledge is one of the greatest things of the British culture.
Nice! Thats the new "GEELY Volvo" London Cab :)
EPIC video so different and so interesting
I love how much components inside the cab are from a Volvo :O
The steering wheel and gauge cluster looks the same as a Volvo XC60 series and the gear selector is from the XC40
Amazing!
I've seen one of these things driving round Sheffield. They look mega sleek
Your videos are too funny Sam, I always get told to shut up coz I'm laughing too loud 😂😂😂
Great original content Mr One And All.
I like this content, it makes your channel becomes unique. Experiencing these types of daily driver. Please do next time postal service.
This was really fun
Everyone are going for G3000,
And here Sam is in a taxi with a lot for cameras
Can't tell where he got inspiration from 😉
That was jolly fun Sam !
Haha quality film made me chuckle.
that is amasing. I didn't know londontaxidrivers are so smart. Credits to them
Alternative title: Sam’s Fake Taxi Test
Very enjoyable vlog sam
This was brilliant
I'm from Dublin and I know bits of Dublin from the game The Getaway in 2002 but I'm sure it's changed alot haha
