Iâve got 3 helixes in total. And Iâm my opinion the helixes hurt the most. Everyone told me that the conch was so painful but that one was easy praat for me⊠it depends from person to person I think.
I agree it definitely depends person to person! I also think it depends on your piercer some are better than others! Funny to hear your conch wasn't painful....I don't have it but would assume it would be!
Your ears are actually so pretty, Iâve got 5 piercings atm and am getting a helix in 3 weeks and Iâm so excited! I plan to get about 12 but Iâm always changing my mind lol. â€
ahh i've tried doing that before but I toss and turn so much that the pillow ends up on the other side of the room for me đ I even purchased a specific ear surgery pillow that is normal sized but with a hole in it but that didn't work either lol...the struggle!
Hey there! I have QUADRUPLE pierced earlobes, which have all healed up. I ENJOY decorating my lobes with earrings! Fortunately, I can wear any type of jewelry(expensive or cheap). I just can't keep the cheap earrings in my lobes indefinitely, they start IRRITATING me. Overall, I don't REGRET any of my piercings!
I literally feel your pain, as I has five piercings in one sitting yesterday - forward helix, helix, 2 second lobes and conch. I got my ears pierced about 45 years ago, so didnât really remember it, but always wanted more. Finally built up the courage to do it yesterday. They were all a little painful and bled like a b***h, but the conch⊠It was so painful I was almost sick! I think some of the problem is the clamp, because some of the spaces are a little tight, and my ears feel sooooo bruised right now. Iâm still planning on getting more, so glutton for punishment đ
wow you are braaaaaave!! lol I can't imaging doing helix and conch in the same day! I totally feel you with that though they hurt so bad it makes you sick lol even worse if you get both ears in the same day then you have no side to sleep on đ”âđ« lol beauty is pain though đ€·đŒââïž
I have a love hate relationship with my triple forward helix as well. This was the start of my second ear piercing jewelry after not having gotten any new piercings in over a decade. The only ones remain if weâre my first and 2nd lobes and my 3rd lobe in my right ear. I rarely ever wore earrings because they would fall out and/or get lost. I got the, and a daith on the opposite side on the same day. The pain wasnât as bad as I anticipated and the daith was mostly pressure. I got the, in October 2019 and they still havenât healed. My top one looks just like yours and the bottom 2 got pushed down from mask wearing. Iâm in the medical field doing Covid testing so Iâm frequently in a mask.
Ahh yes its such a love hate relationship! I would love to get my daith pierced. I love the way it looks! Its funny how the ones you think would hurt the most barley even hurt. I couldnt even feel my tragus being pierced lol. They do take forever to heal though :/ I used to loose earrings too from time to time so now I try to only wear twist backs/push backs! It has definitely helped and I rarley ever loose earrings unless I put them in wrong. Its also a lot more comfortable to wear them :)
@@moriahandpawel I just got my daith repierced last week and can't stop looking at it. It's do gorgeous. I got an Indistrial strength clicker that has an outer row of white opal and an inner row of clear cz and Aroura borealis. The daith feels like a dull pressure instead of a sharp pain. My tragus didn't hurt at all. I got my right pierced twice and left 3 times. Easiest piercings I've ever had. No issues at all.
I have my double helix, conch, first and second lobs, the helix hurt the most, most pain Iâve felt ( I previously got helix done with a gun years before and took it out ) but the conch hurt a little more than my lobs. Everyone told me conch hurts the most. I was so surprised
Right! Ahh I cant imagine what a helix would feel like being pierced with a gun! That was definitely the worst pain for me. Thats so interesting about the conch! I assumed that would be the worst as well!
Iâve had 8 piercings forever (all done with guns, either from Claireâs or Amazon lol). almost 2 weeks ago I worked up the courage to go get my nose pierced (an amazing experience). After that I realized I wanted to finish my ears and decided to start with my right ear, I got my tragus pierced professionally and used on gun to do my helix (bad, I know đŹ Iâm broke). Now Iâm waiting for them all the heal and itâs incredible. Iâm hoping to do a forward helix and took on my left (I might do the forward helix on my right, not sure). Iâm trying to be patient and not do too many at once, but Iâm excited to have a more curated ear with the new jewelry Iâm getting
omg ahhh thats so exciting though that you're growing your collection! Healing is the worrrrrst part especially for any helix piercing lol but the rook was super quick and painless to heal for me! Im already wanting to do more on my left ear but i'm running out of room lol đ
My forward helix is what brought me to this video. I want a double but I donât think I can handle it lol. It wasnât the most painful but I donât want to do it again. Iâm also figuring out that thereâs no way I can change this thing on my own.
ahh I know the feeling! the only reason I was able to do all 3 at once was because my entire ear was already numb after the 1st one lol! I love the look of having 3 though and they are finally fully healed!! Changing them is definitely a struggle though, I use silicone earring backs because they are fairly easy to get on vs any twist backs and they are a lot more comfortable!
Thank you so much! The flower charm is from HRH and the chain is one that I've had for a few years :) I'm planning on filming a jewelry collection video super soon!
Can you have titanium labret backing, and some other metal earrings, as long as the size matches? I have to wear titanium due to hypersensitivity, but i find the titanium earrings aren't the most attractive.
Yeah definitely! A few of my earrings have mixed metals for the backs! It's sometimes hard to find ones that are the same size though especially if it's a push pin one but if you find one that fits go for it!
Ive been thinking about getting some ear done too aswell. Think get same style piecred lower double done both ears and 1 ear have helix done what you think? Xx
It was called Braindrops but they arenât in business anymore đ thereâs a ton of other great spots in SF though just make sure to look at reviews!
I don't have any tattoos! Thought about getting my nose pierced but not too sure i'll go through with it lol! But i'm always thinking about what else I can get on my ears
Ahh hope you are ok! My biggest tips would be to clean it regularly and try to not touch the piercing (the longer you leave it alone the quicker it can heal). Try not to sleep on it (I did and it definitely slowed down the process for me lol). I would also recommend doing salt baths! Fill up a small bowl with salt and warm water and soak your ear for 2 minutes. This significantly helped for me!
Honestly a 5! The rook wasnât bad AT ALL!! Lol I was terrified because it feels so thick and is sun such a weird spot but it was one of my least painful piercings and the healing process was so quick and easy! Same with the tragus! Forward helix was definitely a 12 on the pain scale though đ
@@moriahandpawel thank you! Thatâs really good to know, the rook looks pretty. I literally just had my helix done a few days ago & itâs just starting to settle down but Iâm a swim teacher so have to be extra vigilant to minimise it getting wet in the pool.
I keep my earrings in my ears 24/7 but to clean your earrings if you are switching them out I typically use dish soap and water if the earring is 14kt gold. To clean new piercings I always use 1/4 teaspoon of non-iodized salt mixed with warm water! and do it twice a day. Or you can use h2ocean salt spray from amazon!
I think they are super cool! I have seen some with chain attachments instead of bars, so that is probably what I would do if I had one, but overall I like the look of industrial piercings!
Nope not at all!! My rook piercing was the least problematic of them all actually! I think because it's inside the ear the earring doesn't hit against anything. The hoop is super comfortable to sleep in I dont even feel it đ
Hear me out. Piercing guns are bad ofc. No question about that. But they don't hurt at all. Needles hurt way more but still it's really quick so I don't mind really what is the most painful part is when the piercer is getting the piercing in and it takes longer time. its not just a second. While with gun it's literally a second and you are done. It's literally so painless. I am not saying that guns are better or anything. Needles are definitely the right choice. I am just saying that they totally do hurt more lol.
Such a good point! Changing the earring is definitely the worst part of needle piercings but the healing process is always so much quicker than guns so it ends up worth it in the end lol!
