The Lord of the Rings is an unbelievably important part of my life. I have tattoos, rare statues in my home, the works 😅. When one of my patron's requested I cover this piece, I knew that it would be a challenge to create something I was truly proud of to complement the original and my contralto sister, Annie Lennox.

Which of course reminds me I was 21 when I saw ROTJ in theaters, and it makes me sad.

As much as I LOVE Annie Lennox, and have for most of my life, THIS version simply SOARS above hers. It's so lovely to hear you sing with such soft subtle precision and strength to deliver a truly magical performance. Nothing strained, forced, or overpowering, just simply gorgeous vocals and a beautiful setting.

Wow! Even if I wasn't subscribed I would have clicked if I saw that beautiful face in my feed and would have been enchanted by that heavenly voice. I like how you almost slipped into the operatic register in the middle of the song and was actually hoping you would. Loved that performance. 👏
Would have liked your rich, luxurious voice a bit more wet & further back from the mic. You're so forward & sharp in the mix.
The atmosphere in the original is one of the great aspects of that recording. It resonates as though Lennox had sung it from an ancient Elven amphitheater. Wonderful, wonderful performance. Hated to be critical, but you're immensely talented, & it's only been done with reverence & gratitude.
