- Faction skates have stepped up the game with the new Faction Tactical V.1 Skate in white and blue. It's the first time we've carried the Faction brand. This video shows our immediate impressions on unboxing.

When will you have the black Faction Tactical back in stock? I am looking to buy them and would love to buy from you guys to ensure no extra VAT and import crap is comming on top. (I am based in the Netherlands)
Had my first session on them on Thursday, they are really nice. They do seem to run a little small and you definitely need to heat mold them...makes a huge difference. First 20 mins or so they felt really floppy but once the liner warmed up I could pull my laces tighter and they felt great. The soulplates are the fastest I have ever used...they slide like butter even without wax. All round I am really impressed.
Been binge watching your videos since I decided 2 weeks ago to get back in to skating after not skating since the 90s.
It would be awesome if you could do a video for this crowd of 30 somethings getting back in to skating to cover things like protective gear recommendations, risk reward ratio with trucks and grinds you touched on in the video when Harry injured his wrist eg what to try and what you wouldn't recommend, beginner aggressive skates recommendations, some of the terminology etc. Would be cool to have it all in one video.
Love the style of the videos and getting 3 different opinions in one video.

I'd mention that heat molding these makes all the difference with Factions. Pad out your toes with some additional material if you're looking to gain a bit of toe room. The liners will also conform nicely to your feet.
Absilutely love my ehite Factions. The control is emmaculate and the fit is phenomenal. Soul plate and flex are perfeft for learning new grinds. Clark is doing some great things 🙏
Clark and Lee really hit the nail on the head with Faction! Love the design, but they usually become available when my paycheck isn't. 😂😂

I think you're right that souls generally taper at the back to follow the contours of the boot better.

Well as a 275er at least I know it's not worth trying the US9s now. The skates do look so great, definitely look forward to more from them. I'm pretty sure these were a one time run, so curious what the next colour way will be 🤔
You can dye Suede very easily with Suede dye. I have been making custom dyed suede shoes for years. Personally I would dye the charcoal grey or dark tan or a dark shade of blue. I have been skating for a long time and always end up customizing my skates over time. Even back when I had K2 Backyards I colored the green suede black so the skate was black and white. On those I used a Sharpie marker, which also works on suede but leaves lines. So just some advice to anyone you can easily make these skates any color you want. And for the plastic parts spray paint. They will show wear over time. A lot of time scratches look cool. If you don’t like the wear marks you can just repaint the plastic.
I want to skate so bad. I can't afford it right now. But I will save and get a pair of blades. Your channel inspired me to get out every day. I appreciate all the great videos. What should a beginner buy?

Hello. I would like to know the recommended size. The actual length of the legs is 26.5 cm, but they are wide. Wise are 4E or more. Skating that doesn't hurt my feet. 5th US9.blank sk US9/9.5.razors Genesis us9.them 909 M. Are factionskates suitable for wide feet?
As a result of my own research, faction skating seems to have a wide range. I buy US9.

It looks decent to me, I just hate 45 straps and carbon fiber on aggressive skates.
Maybe the tapered heel makes it slightly easier to spin out of grinds?
The tapered heel is meant to give option compared to our standard soul. Our soulplates are both available and give people options based on their preference.

Where can I get advice on buying a decent pair of freestyle skates £100-£150 price range.
I am a beginner, but an avid skier and want to bring that same feeling to the tarmac.

it's a totally new company and has no relationship with USD.
@perpetuusflamma Well dang, guess they didn't really break too many sweats in the design department then sheesh lol.
Barely anything different to distinguish from carbons from 10 years ago imo.
@@Hyzicthe shape of the shell is different, especially in the toe area. Perhaps the flex is different as well. The soul kit is a different design and there's a removable liner which isn't the case for USD carbons.

Just... Measure your foot. Literally ignore shoe sizes, they're always wrong on every skate.
