Since making changes to my DIY backyard skatepark, the riding and levels of tricks has gone up loads, so I'm super proud to have this amazing ramp setup at my house. I invited Jake Atkinson who's one of our slopestyle MTB Helfare athletes to ride the plyground and he did not dissapoint! Insane tricks, insane hype and I can't wait for more BMX and MTB pros to discover the Helfarm!

You can tell the difference in riders preference of location, Jake is FLYING up those ramps like they aint sh*t! 100% can think of a few riders I would love to see session with you guys. Kieran Reilly? How ever his last name is spelt, for sure one of them!

Dont think people realise how good this Jake is. He is going to give Emil a run for his money, which is going to make Slope unreal going forward as its become boring as **** with him winning everything 😂
No one can give Emil a run for his money sadly because he's so ambidextrous and can do super gnarly moves both directions- even riders like Godziek who do significantly bigger tricks won't be able to compete coz he only does tricks in one direction. Even Jake was struggling on an oppo truckdriver in this video. Not taking away from this guys skill at all since he's really really good at what he does, but don't get your hopes up for Emil season being over anytime soon
I do wana see someone start competing with Emil but man i love watching that kid land a run, every time my jaw is on the floor. And he does it so casually.

Gotta get rid of the mini ramp and put couches and a bar, would be an elite chill spot
Would love to see someone gap from the quarter above the step up to the upper deck where the skateboard mini ramp is
Take some twine and hang a few small bits of scrap plywood up the corners, and then see how close to the rafter peak you get on the bike, and hang some more scrap ply there. You'll be amazed how much it dampens the acoustic echo.
While that would make a difference, Plywood reflects sound and hanging stuff from a ceiling presents a challenge. You really want something soft that can be easily adhered to the ceiling structure like insulation

to sound proof the park. properly close the tarped wall. After this you can spray foam insulate the building, it will be warm, with no echo and fun for days.
