    Did the marbling on this meat look better than the previous pigs ?

      That's a good question.. I'll have to get back to you on that. We haven't ate any other cuts of meat other than the sausage

    Kune kune pigs need a year to get up to full mature size. They are not a fast return, feed to meat ratio pig. I have a trio on my homestead and only the boar is a pretty decent size for meat for a family of 4 for a year.

      Yeah I see this now. Do you know anything about Idaho Pasture Pigs? I've read they grow faster and bigger

      @@Mallard5plus1Farmhouse no sorry, IPP they do grow bigger seeing that kune kunes max out around 240ish ,unless you let them get over weight then you end up with more fat then meat. Kune kune are lard pigs so you have to watch out for over feeding them. There are several popular homesteaders on CZcams raising them though. I think (living traditions ) is one homesteading family that has them
