@@avishekkumar471 the problem is we are only adapting the bad aspects of western music such as hard electrical sounds instead of acoustic sounds and we are producing the worst lyrics possible right now I mean "ladki pagal hai for most of the song 😵"
If we are moving towards western music we should adpat it's good parts not it's bad parts like the superb rythm songs like despacito and levitating produce and the peaceful relaxing melody produced in songs like perfect and photograph what we are doing is taking catchy songs like senorita and shape of you (which are indeed very good songs) but just making them worse because we add unnecessary electrical music and innapropriate scenes with zero rating lyrics and absolutely no sense of melody and rythm. The electric rythms make the song more catchy but in the long term with so many of these bad songs produced they no longer get catchy but boring and you won't see anyone who listens to these trendy songs listen to them after a while because chances are most of them are just following the trend.
Songs in Indian music made by people like ar rahman etc are truly great and I would love to see more of them.
In short
Western music is great it's fun relaxing but what we are doing is just adapting the bad parts of it.
