I love that you felt Colin's speech. A man telling a woman he'd been envious of her, but he'd worked through it because he loved & and wanted to support her? Its not the passionate declaration you get during a fight, or born from lust, it's the declaration you get from a man who wants his wife to thrive as much as he does himself. He sees her completely & that's what she deserves. Lovely to see a positive reaction out there 🩷

Luke Newton ATE that opening scene in ep 7. He was basically conveying more how much his heart was broken along with his anger. And every time he had an angry convo w/Pen, his eyes were glassy. Magnificent!
I saw an interview where they said that they were both actually crying in that scene because it was so emotional 😭

The way my girl Franchesca thought she was the main character and tried to confess about her engagement to the queen took me out. Girl if your own family barely cares you know Charlotte doesn’t 😭

I cheered when Colin stood up to Lady Featherington, on Penelope's behalf. Luke and Nicola have such electric onscreen chemistry, that you can easily tell that they greatly like and respect each other in real life.

@@Tasha31301 They've done a great job with the casting. Their pairings click in a way that works for the love story they're trying to tell each season, but a lot of shows don't manage that.
Colin could’ve defended Pen without disrespecting her mother.
I totally started crying when Francesca and Eloise left in the carriage and through the last scene with the Featheringtons and Bridgertons. It felt like a series finale and that hit me so hard for some reason.

Nicola and Luke Newton deserve their flowers this season. Sad that there are people who hate the Michaela and Benedict storylines and that is overshadowing the main story this season, especially on social media. I hope they see all the positivity and love here and a lot of places too. I LOVED this season!
As usual, the love is naturally outweighing the hate. The issue is that negativity is always so much louder than positivity. That’s why people are all ‘people hate this season!’ when no, it’s just a small corner of the internet who are unfortunately very vocal. Like you, I hope Nic & Luke are able to weed through all that crap to see the outpouring of love there.

I didn't catch it until you noticed too - when she kissed Kilmartin at their wedding - the face she made. I thought it was strange too, but couldn't catch why. Then, noticed how she looked at Pen when she was with her mother and seemed mad, yet was so excited when she first heard of her nuptials. I missed the mom telling the story of meeting their dad, but when you brought it up while Francesca was looking at his cousin - it clicked. She's so gay and I don't think a little. She found a hetero-life mate, but not her lover.

She's coy, vapid, and self involved, yet self conscience - I'm going with a young Libra. Hopefully, when she's older she'll weigh pros and cons before shouting them out.

Should be Benedict next, the masquerade ball is theplace Sophie famously appears! That dialogue hint at the end was pretty clare, and Francesca is supposed to live a few very definung events before her real story hapoebs(no spoilers, you'll have to read the book). The show has obviously made a few major changes but some things already in motion will need to unfold for her story to come up before Benedicts, or maybe even Eloises story after that as well. We shall see!
Honestly...Francesca's realization was my favorite part of the entire season. The look she gave Michaela ON SIGHT was so😭😭😭I need a story for them!

This season was truly a masterpiece 💛 It's not just romantic love but also familial, friendship, and self love. Both Colin and Pen's arc was beautifully written. Colin was able to get past through his hero-complex and jealousy and was able to humble himself (in two weeks time btw hence he's the greenest Bridgerton man) for Pen. On the other hand, Penelope was able to find confidence and herself through Colin. The moment she realized someone has loved her more than she imagines, she was able to hold on to that and be more inspired to be better. Ugh, I can't get enough of this season because it's so deep and has shown us why love is multifaceted. One can be jealous, insecure, angry, but love endures when both hearts are committed to overcoming those flaws together and Polin showed that! 💛 Sorry for long TedTalk 🫣

I can't with this season, so many things happening all at once I wish they focused more on Polin, but still had a great time watching. I also thought it was soooo funny that after Polin's wedding, Benedict was the one enjoying their "wedding night", meanwhile Colin slept on the sofa 😭
I loved the season. It has plenty of things that probably ... Maybe I would have preferred they did differently, but they didn't and this is the show I'm given. And so I'm not going to love the fantasy of some show that will never be done. I can only decide how I feel about what has been released, snd overall..... What choice do I have? What a good season! I admit I wasn't looking forward to Colin and Penelope's story but it was so good. And seeing Penelope's glow up and a bigger girl being loved out loud was so fire. Yes, they sure mucked this one up. Not letting John an Fran have a love match for the few years they do have together. But since writers have decided to go that route, Francesca will have to have an heir so after John passes, she and Michaela can keep the estate.

Amazing ending ♥️. Did you notice Cressida’s hair in her final scene in the carriage? Chains across her forehead…very symbolic of the life she was about to have. Oh and yes, next season is Benedict’s season.
This was her villain origin story, she’s gonna come back for revenge in S4, we need antagonists! Also the actress was in so much of the cast press for this season, it really felt like they were giving her a main character upgrade the same as they did for Will and Alice to become more permanent fixtures of the core Mayfair group.
Don't think we are done with Cressida. Did you notice she is in the carriage alone and not with her aunt Jo. Very interesting!

I felt like we didn’t get enough time with Penelope and Colin. I fell in love with Kate and Anthony because we grew with them; I saw no growth with Polin with this ensemble season.
I'm completely with you. I've spent hours and hours talking over how rushed this season was with my friends. I wanted so much more with Polin. Needed more episodes if they didn't want to drop the side stories.

I really enjoyed this season, while it wasnt perfect, it is definitely my favorite season and i loved all of the happy endings. I honestly got really emotional at the end cuz even tho i know its not the series finale, it feels like the end of an era because SO MANY THINGS have changed this season. it wasnt just a season about a love story, but so many characters have grown and matured and found themselves, LW is no longer a secret, at least 3 future storylines have been set up, its like now I dont know what to expect anymore. Its gonna be different but im excited🤭

I thought Lady Whistledown could so something for Crisseda, cause her development was complex in this season and I felt sorry for her situation. But I'm glad she wasn't painted as a complete villain... Now! The surprise of the century: Franchesca's gay panic, OMG. I feel like you would really like the romance in the 2015 film Brooklyn, starring Saoirse Ronan, even though it's not a romcom, but I feel like a lot of Irish stuff rarely gets reacted to on CZcams aside from Derry Girls (which, btw, is actually a TV show I think you would love, especially since Nicola plays one of the main characters), and I feel like you would not only have a good reaction to it but would also really understand the story well 💕
Ngl, other people's reaction has warmed me more to the part 2.
Cause my first impression wasn't nearly as good as part 1, I was pissed at the show letting the main couple get together only in the very last 13 minutes AGAIN (20 for Daimon and 15 for Kanthony), felt like they didn't show enough post- conflict happy Polin BEFORE the epilogue (again, for the third time in a row), and it felt worse here than previous seasons because Lady Whistledown conflict was built up across THREE SEASONS and you leave the resolution to the last 15 minutes? Idk, it felt like the resolution should've been the end of the previous episode or the beginning of the last one, but it's not possible because of the DAMNED 8 EPISODES THAT TAKE 2 YEARS TO MAKE INSTEAD OF AT LEAST 10 OR 12 no wonder they don't have time for anything.
But I do still ver much enjoy the season, Pen and Colin got a beautiful build up and growth for 2 seasons before that one and I hope no other Bridgerton will suffer the fate of Simon and Daphne because even their abscence was LOUD, I can't imagine future seasons without any of the current cast, but potentially dividing them into London and Scotland is also crazy
I dont know if youve heard of it, but i recommend arcane! Its a sci fi action series with 9 episodes, one of my favorites
