The problem is not the try scoring highlights reel, it is the defense highlights reel, where unfortunately Lam is absent. His defence is too weak to get him into the ABs and he won't have a strong reason to fix it as teams all over the world will be begging him to play for them while being paid buckets of money.

I often thought that a combination of Barrett, lamapie & Aso in the midfield is a winning formula into this WC. I'm obviously wrong!?
I agree, I always thought that Laumapie/Aso tore defences apart but they never got the opportunity together at the top level. I think there were just way too many choices in the midfield - Sonny Bill, Jack Goodhue, Crotty. I would have like to see them get an extended run in the midfield at All Blacks level I felt they could have turned into a Bunce/Little or Nonu/Umaga combination. I think Crotty and Goodhue are better defenders though and that counts for a lot at All Black level.
Ben Lam was robbed of an All Black cap. Ditto Brad Shields. Nobody with a functioning brain will argue against me.

Holy Liable ummm Kaino I went to France and his spot seems to have been filled by Ardie savea, and Ben lam might not be a long term prospect but could’ve provided decent cover for the World Cup, especially given how the ABs struggled against the northern hemisphere defence this November

Moritz Sk Idk how fast you can say bridge is considering he got gassed by asafo aumoa during mitre 10 cup. And I mean ben lam is also, clearly, pretty elusive. but tbh I can't see either of them getting much time as all blacks. Bridge reminds me of Caleb Ralph. And he got very little time
@@zaneberge7171 He got stepped by aumua while he was in full flight and hes standing still, I wouldnt call that burnt everyone can get beat like that rieko and beauden have been too doesnt mean they are slow. Also ben doesnt really have a step its mostly straight line speed not really elusive still an exciting player. And you cant tell me bridge after the season he had and the 2 tries on debut he doesnt look promising. I'd take him over naholo who wasnt that impressive recently
