- This is Half Moon Cay - Holland America Line’s very own private island in the Bahamas.
Half Moon Cay was formally known as Little San Salvador island, situated west of Cat Island - and approximately 277 miles southeast of Miami. Half Moon Cay is only visited by Carnival Corp & PLC vessels - but most-frequently visited by Holland America cruise ships as you would expect.
Half Moon Cay is a paradise - you can swim with stingrays, go snorkelling, take a hike, do some shopping, ride horses through the sea or just take it easy laying on the beach, and looking at the incredible views that this island provides. You’ll also discover incredible food on this island, whether it be the inclusive food served at the Food Pavilion - or the mouthwatering menu at the Lobster Shack.

Wow this is place is amazing and your filming excellent as alway especially the drone footage.
With 4bs hat on looks like kids are catered for even though as said not a traditional kids line. I think a day with no wi fi is a plus.

Fabulous video. Went on Holland America recently and we went to half moon cay. I am well traveled and it is honestly one of the most stunning places i have been too. It’s up there with the Maldives!!! Booked to go again next February. We will be going to half moon cay twice next time. Can’t wait 🥰

We got to the beach @1:30, no drinks or food available on the island However, we spent all of our time in the water and in the sand, totally worth it. Can't wait to get back!!

Absolutely! Holland America really wowed us - so much so we booked two long cruises with them pretty much back-to-back next year :)
No WiFi or signal... Lush. When I go on a cruise , I try to shut off and not think of the hard work I put in to afford it or the mountain awaiting my return.
We heard a few people moaning about it - we loved it! For 1 whole day, we had no knowledge of all the depressing stuff going on around the world. Makes a change to not be notified of anything!
