This fight was insane! The dialogue, choreography, cinematography and music for this was really good! We've added Battle of the Heroes to spice it up a bit more as we felt that was like the only thing missing from the scene

Battle of the Heroes gives this piece that much more emotional oomph. Hands down(sorry Anakin), L'Orchestra created an excellent composition!
PS: I wish that the Death Star duel could have been like that insane fight.

Well gotta say dude between this and Samuel Kim's I vastly prefer this. Purely for the fact that you made Battle of the Heroes flow well and naturally from the original theme. The whole composition felt like a natural piece rather than placing two distinct tracks together.
The music in combination with the moment when Obi Wan cuts Vaders back - this little Moment was my Personal Highlight besides the big ones like Obi and Anakin/Vader talkin or Qui Gon showing up in the end. It was pure Star Wars for me, a feeling I never felt since RotS. Epic!!!

The rematch between Obi-Wan and Anakin had a good opportunity to do a remastered Battle of the Heroes. But I did like the theme Holt used
Not every epic battle needs Battle of the Heroes.
I personally liked the new music. Sure, its not as memorable as Battle of the Heroes, but it still carried some surprising emotion. There was an underlying sadness to it, especially when Vader started failing and stumbling.
The change was needed, this is no longer the Battle of Heroes. Anakin is gone, there was only one hero there this time.
@@Jwlar Just as Battle of the Heroes is derived from Duel of the Fates, the new theme should have been reminiscent of Battle of the Heroes.

the music at 1:56 is perfect, specially at around 2:13 which I believed is used when Obi Wan slashes Vader's back and Vader lets out a groan of pain. The scene is perfect because it really depicts that despite his intimidating look, Vader is ultimately pathetic

This version I think, more than any of the others, would fit perfectly with a re-imagined fight from Episode IV (there's a youtube video of something like this). Mixing both songs used in their duels for the final duel between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader

That's right, but that particular track is not from him, but from Natalie Holt.
Coming from someone who was alienated by the prequels, I loved this duel from the music, tension, cinematography, there being no george lucas type dialogue, actual felt more emotion in these 6 mins of these 2 fighting then them in 2 whole movies (phantom menase thought it was a good idea to sideline obi-wan, build anakins relationship with qui-gon, and then kill him, and then forget about him for almost the rest of the trilogy. WTF.)
This duel felt like a real struggle. In the originals the lightsabers had enough, but not too much weight where it didnt look too easy to swing quickly, and the amazing cinematography of the sequels made it to whenever someone was hurt by a lightsaber, it felt like they actually received a blow to their body, and users actual need physical strength to hold the hilt / blade when in combat, and the prequel lightsabers were terrible but I love this duel nonetheless

@@Omnipulsar I feel like it's a given for Anakin/Vader to always be conflicted whenever he fights Kenobi. Pre-Mustafar he was always clouded by the desire to surpass his master and receive his recognition. Then of course post-Mustafar he has to deal with that shit ton of emotional baggage all concentrated around that one remaining link to his old jedi life.

One of the things missing from the series (until this final duel) was new noticeable and memorable themes. This duel's theme though immediately caught my attention for the first time in the series (music-wise). Nothing against Natalie Holt, her work on the Loki series was phenomenal, but she did fall a bit short with composing this series in my opinion. Until this theme at least. This was awesome.

This fight was simply the best in Star Wars in terms of choreography. Every move made sense. In the prequels, the choreography is amazing, but it also feels like a dance. In the Originals, they are very good, but not great. And the sequels choreography is just really bad. This fight though was great.

I can’t sugar coat this crap any more… the show was crap. The lightsaber battles were at best sub par. The plot line might as well have been stolen from the family guy Star Wars parody.
While I appreciate the good work done by you guys cutting in some better music from a (marginally) better Star Wars, the show was still a heaving pile of dog crap.

So now Obi-Wan is an idiot that has the blood of millions on his hands and a failure for not protecting Luke who would be dead if not for the change of heart in a person that hadn't shown a single shred of having one the entire season. Oh, and Leia is now a cold hearted bitch that didn't give a fuck about Obi-Wan because instead of saying "hey Obi-Wan, it's me Leia. You know, the little girl you saved, we went on an adventure, well I need your help again, please." She's just like "Yeah you knew my dad please help" and she didn't show any sadness over him dying. Cold fucking hearted. The worst part is they did it to tell a story that didn't need to be told. Don't get me started on how they wasted Hayden and Liam. Oh, and they stole from their one of their own shows (Rebels) when Obi-Wan sliced open Vader's helmet. That's how fucking creatively bankrupt they were. There's a bunch of other stupid things like Vader asking Obi-Wan "Have you come to destroy me" when Vader is the one that was chasing him down and went down to the planet to fight. That scene was so stupid because had Vader just brought a dozen Stormtroopers Obi would have died, but they couldn't kill him so Vader just goes alone because he's a fucking morons. Oh yeah and they also made Vader's idea of letting the Falcon go after they rescued Leia because he had put a tracker on it knowing they would go to the rebel base, a scene that showed us that not only was Vader strong he was clever and thus he becomes and even more imposing threat, yeah that wasn't really his idea he got the idea from someone else. All for cheap nostalgia. Maybe it wasn't fucking terrible to you because Disney fed you shit for 3 movies and now they're putting sprinkles and sugar on the shit so it's not that bad. It's still fucking shit, though.
@@vermithrx1744 Vader wants Kenobi to die by his hand so why would he bring Stormtroopers with him, Obi-Wan failed because he hasn't trained or done much for 10 years, Obi-Wan told Leia that no one must know that they know each other so she mentioned her father she was also doing it on his behalf so why would she mention the fact he saved her, she did show sadness to him dying, but she did what Padmè does and put others first, the way she reacted when Luke said Ben Kenobi, Liam I was disappointed in, but he actually loved it so that's good, the helmet breaking makes sense because it shows that Vader was still learning to control himself when it came to Obi-Wan, he got reckless and it caused him to lose. The show wasn't great but it wasn't bad, it's something cool to watch when bored.
