A bit sad that they couldn't get the live orchestra for the entire soundtrack! It's always a bit strange to go from the orchestrated sky theme back to sampled instruments like in this track.
@@jacobbaker5442 I am a videogame music nerd and can specifically tell you precisely what virtual instruments these are: they're all stock Logic Pro instruments and loops (originally from the GarageBand Jam Packs, which you can still get today by buying Logic Pro). This checks out since this track was created by Shiho Fujii, who uses Logic Pro. Stock Logic Pro instruments, loops, and effects can be heard in several other Nintendo tracks she made, like ones in New Super Mario Bros. Wii/U and Splatoon.
@@jacobbaker5442Skyward Sword is weird in that there are completely orchestrated tracks, completely MIDI tracks, and tracks that blend both. I'm not sure why they did that but they did. Faron Woods is either completely MIDI or a blended mix.
@@Narwhyn That flute is quite literally a stock flute that comes with Garageband and Logic Pro (the latter of which is the software this music's composer, Shiho Fujii, makes music with). Most, if not all, of the rest of the instruments in this track are from the same place.
Hi, I've been looking for a while to find out what type of flute plays the main theme at the beginning of the piece. I have the impression that it's a transverse flute but I'm not sure, if someone could help me that would be awsome !
Nintendo is missing out on major dough by not putting these on spotify.
Or at least making their own music streaming service, they could even tie it into switch online
Major dough? On Spotify?
LOL
Eeeeeh no. Spotify is notorious for not paying artist well. At all.
@@bagelbramble7335 true but a corporation with billions of followers? I don't think anyone would be losing money except for us listening to it there
You suck
This has been stuck in my head since 2011
Literally same lol 🤣
Was about to make the same exact comment, verbatim to the word
Damn why are both Faron woods themes such bangers? (SS and TP)
No one does forests and deserts like Nintendo
Such a good theme for the first place you visit
So sweet theme to hear while you are meeting Machi and all the others Kikwis
Ah. What would Faron woods be without this music?
Can you add me in brawl stars

Faron Woods from Twilight Princess? I guess?
probably my favorite theme from the game
Mine too 💚
Then you haven’t heard that many themes 😂. This is a decent song but Sand Sea is a masterpiece

My favorite version of Faron Woods
Ok playing this September 2021 after graduating was a whole new vibe
My first console Zelda 😊

This one always reminds me Minish Cap.
One of the best examples of 6/8 music I can think of off the top of my head. Such a lovely track :)

Realmente bem aventureiro essa música
This is legitimately the greatest cover I’ve heard for the shrines, very very well done. Keep up the great work!
I think you're in the wrong video
This is the original theme released for skyward sword. No shrines in this game so
Nigga what

it's supposed to be a piccolo. It's a midi so it doesn't really sound like a real flute but the preset sound is supposed to be a piccolo
