    I prefer the explanations as you go along like this. It makes it much more clear to follow during my builds. Otherwise I watch the same stuff over and over--even in slo-mo to figure out what layer is bottom or top, where to start the stitch, etc.

      MegaMatt333 THANK YOU! I’ll definitely be trying my machine then do a decorative stitch over it! I’ll get a bag looking great...until you see the zipper and the area around it...it’s more wrinkly than my crows feet!

    Tony, any recommendations for marking "marked holes" on the cut peace of leather?

    • @dnf7778
      @dnf7778 Před 3 lety +1

      When you punch your holes in the specific area marked take your awl and poke the leather on each side of the marked hole. Don't poke all the way through tho just enough so you can find it later. You will never see these marks after you stitch the line because the thread will cover them easily. I used this method always and it works, after all I learned it from "Tony"

    • @bagramdave883
      @bagramdave883 Před 3 lety +1

      I've been marking the specie hole on the back of both pieces with a sharpie dot. I'm gonna try Dniece's method next and hope my awl mark doesn't disappear on me. My eyes aren't young anymore.

    I am curious,Tony. Do you ever glue any seams? Or is it not worth it?

    • @WolvesandWhatnot
      @WolvesandWhatnot Před 3 lety +1

      Hello! I have an idea for why he may not. In my experience several of the designs won’t sit right to be glued, as I have to adjust the leather as I’m stitching. For example: stitch rounded corners and such. Hope that helps!
