Scania R580 From Melby Maskintransport AS hauling a load with steel beams and pipes with very nice v8 sound from the straight exhaust, June 20th 2016. Thanks to the driver for the ride!

Takk!! Det var en veldig flott tur jeg fikk der og at den hadde v8-lyd i seg var en bonus! Jeg snakket med sjåføren via facebook og forklarte hvem jeg var osv. og om det var mulig få lov til å sitte på, og det fikk jeg jo selvfølgelig lov til. Skal også senere få lov til å sitte på med firmaets 2 Scania T-biler med rake rør...

Its a shame he didn't use the exhaust brake, it makes absolutely fantastic sound downhill with heavy load. Try to capture this somewhere ;)

It certainly is! I got some nice headphones to my phone and they have a deep bass. When I went to Germany yesterday I found your video and listened to the sound, while driving on the Danish motorways.

There's no such thing as a "Euro 5 grill". It's a 5 series grill. The production of the 5 series started in 2005 with Euro 3 engines and ended in 2009 with Euro 5 engines. The truck in the video is an early model with a Euro 3 engine (DC16 03).
