I've lived in Austin all my life. That drone footage and editing was awesome. I bought a Mavic 2 Pro like a year ago and have maybe flown it 10 times. I took it out today for the 1st time in months and got some good raw footage. Inspirational TAPP Channel. Thanks. It's a lot harder than it looks.

At least this areal shows more than just that glass owl ugly building at night. Austin is a nice place to live, and work. Video could be brighter so you can see things clearly. But when traffic took over I35I moved to SanMarcos. It's a smaller version of Austin.

Houston's* and especially here in San Antonio, but San Antonio just has something that other Texas cities don't. Big city small town feel. I love everything from Austin to Corpus Christi and from Uvalde to Gonzalez

Update from 5 months ago I loved the trip over there
Its crazy to imagine that an updated video would have 7-8 new skyscrapers under construction.
As a native ((HOUSTONIAN)) I am glad to proclaim my excitement for Austin's Updated downtown as HOUSTON continues to build up it's 3 major out of 10 SKYLINES, those 3 being downtown uptown and the TEXAS MEDICAL CENTER. The other 7 rival other US cities and small towns in building count and populations and their only business parks in master planned communities.
Houston has barely added skyscrapers in the last 10 years. It has fallen behind.

I had to move away from Austin in 2007. Every time I go back (which isn't very often) or see photos/video, it absolutely amazes me how much it's changed. The skyline is cooler, for sure, but it doesn't have the same vibe anymore. It started several years before I moved. Just a huge influx of mostly boring people if I'm to be honest. But it's probably still a better place to live than most places.
When housing prices skyrocketed all the artists and musicians who made Austin weird couldn't afford to live their anymore.

@@TAPPChannel It's just a model city to me. Lots of green space, business is easy to do there, and the near perfect climate. As an outdoorsman, I thought it was impossible to blend a major city with nature like Austin did. They've came a long way tbh.

Oh boy, here come the know it all millennial's. There are very FEW democrat controlled cities in Texas. Austin and San Antonio are the largest of those and they are still the minority. Now, look at San Antonio, it's run down, dirty and teeming with homelessness and illegals. Definitely a direct result of its democrat leadership. Austin, a very liberal city, is also far more expensive to live in and has it's own homeless problems. If your democrat leadership is so attractive to you, then why are you in Texas? California sounds like a much better match for you! Perhaps you could learn to play hopscotch with the human feces littering the streets as you kiss the asses of the democrats who made it that way.

Nice edit. Didn't see much from the UT campus. The stadium is sort of away from the campus.
I asked the UT police officer if its ok and he only gave me permission to take some shots of the stadium... I have couple more shots from the campus area that I'll post on Austin by night video...
