- I stayed in women-only area of a designer capsule hotel in Kyoto, Japan for the first time (女性専用エリア カプセルホテル 京都 日本). The name of the hotel is MAJA HOTEL KYOTO (マヤホテルキョウト).
This capsule hotel was designed by the famous Finnish designer "Harri Koskinen". Linens and curtains were made by Marimekko, and it was a special space.
There is a women-only area, and some days are completely women-only. It was a wonderful space and I was able to have a comfortable experience unlike other capsule hotels. Watch the video for details!

Everything is so clean. The amenities are amazing. Even the streets on your walk to dinner looked impeccably clean. Almost like a set in a play lol

I've seen quite a few capsule hotels on CZcams but never one with such a beautiful shaped room 😍 All the amenities were fabulous and all the freebies including sanitary towels just brilliant! Wonderful video ❤️

kyoto train station was my favorite train station of all i visited! amazing architecture and who doesn't love mr. donut? i stayed in a cheap business hotel but i next time i might do a capsule hotel. japan is the best!

This is really good and nice capsule hotel which I also never find before. But when I go to Japan, always go with my family with little boy so it's hard to try capsule hotels.

The place looks awesome . The stuff they give is incredibile, like 5 stars hotels dont provide so much stuff . Never saw any hotel give you pijamas . You can just relax even if your luggage is lost .

It was a very interesting hotel, but I found the title a little confusing. It looks like both genders can be on the same floors and in the same wash rooms. I thought female-only meant there would be more separation.

何年か前に、東京で同じようなタイプのカプセルホテル泊まったとき、大浴場があって良かった。
ただ、寝る時になって、咳払いとかなかなかしずらい😅アレルギー性鼻炎だったから、鼻も思い切りかめないのしんどかったわ

The little capsules locked after you were in there but to go to the shower or go to eat there was no one with any authority in the hotel. This hotel is a go idea, but think there should be a guard on the first floor so that men cannot even get on the elevator to start with.
