@@AtticusG3 that makes no doubt, but I'm asking that because you always see crazy cars at daikoku and on the road and from what I read a lot of things are legal there (you have a check to do but it's apparently very accessible), but I can't be sure unless it comes from someone who lives in Japan

This car reminds me of when a car dealer owner I knew, bought a dodge hellcat challenger from the non-running section of an auction. I forget what the name is, but it’s basically where you don’t have any knowledge of the damage and it could be anything, they just knew it didn’t have the key. Turns out, the car was completely flawless and the key was actually underneath the driver seat or something like that. I believe they had to call a locksmith but that was it. The guy bought it for 15k.

Wow, that cleaned up real nice. I'm legit surprised. (Also, the general word on those engines is louder doesn't make better. Especially for gal's car, do not just amplify the not-sounding-good. If less restriction is needed, get something reasonably-tuned. Louder is not of itself better to average car gal. Personally, I prefer kind of a 'quiet menace' sound rather than shouting all the time. (Even if I got long-tube headers on something. Tastes differ, but I prefer just sounding a little mean over big loud. :) )

This was actually interesting! Never once thought about inspection in Japan.
So that being an HR z you'll want to watch your oil pressure because they have gallery gaskets that go out and you'll loose oil pressure. Also look into a csc delete like the z speed cmak. 👍
That's like when you buy a car from the auction you need a smog and a brake and light inspection in California

In nc if you know someone and only need a safety inspection u dont even have to take the car just the registration and get the my tags lol all the mods you can dream of or rust or whatevers stoping you from passing and being on the road

That Z is way to nice and too much potential to turn into a drift car for May that's going to get banged up to hell and back. I hope you go to the auction with May and pick a car for the two of you to build together as a husband and waifu team. It'd be a good way for her to really learn her way around a car that she'll be skidding around in. Also, if our inspections for tabs were as strict as Japan's here in the US millions of cars would be sent to the scrap yard.

I've wet sanded my headlights too. It's very easy
use tooth past on the light sounds really weard but works a treat
GKtech angle kit, BC coilovers, welded diff, poly subframe bushings, steering wheel, seat, hydro, muffler delete ONLY! Leave everything else and send it.
Japan is such a Kool place.
U can clear up headlights just by wet sanding them with some fine sandpaper, sand until liquid turns yellowish and then buff them
Ya but that takes some time. He (and i) was amazed by the chemical that cleared the yellowing in the headlights almost instantly. I wish we could figure out what that was LOL

Imma throw a idea at you. I think I found a way to make a z sound much better. I'm making a customer 3in ypipe but it's gonna have a x pipe to ypipe muffler and a 4in single exit. It'll be one off obviously so no cat back will just bolt on. But sometimes making a full one off stuff sounds better than anything bought.
Its because japan takes this kind of inspections and actually help out to fix stuff that their streets are way better than the states

Sam just cut the rear muffler off right in front of the diff leaving the resonator. That's what Luke Fink does and it sounds amazing!
