I first saw this a couple of years ago and I'm so pleased to have found it again. Cheers for sharing. Peter Buck is truly a great man.

green was good...but little did rem know the super-stardom they'd be in for once releasing "out of time"...and then the forever masterpiece "automatic for the people".

Lol! His voice is fine! But most people are like that about their voice, how you really sound isn't how you think you sound so it freaks you out when you hear yourself! I know I feel that way.

    Feliz 2010.

everybody is self critical of hearing their recorded voice. it can tend to make you overly self-conscious. i'm glad they didn't get political with their music. just stfu and play is a good way to go. he was smart enough to know that

@tomthefunky You should relax. Go out to your Cuban coffe bar grab a decaf and talk to the old-heads about the evils of gun control, immigration, and civil rights.

  • @tomthefunky

@2004tempaul: No, but they have plenty of liberal ideas like Marxism. And I wouldn't be tauting those three things you mentioned as liberal accomplishments considering the state of our public schools, or the fact that taxes cause people to move elsewhere, or that excessive regulation kills business. And I don't have to move to Somalia. All I have to do is see what liberals have done to places like Detroit, Newark, or Baltimore.

Believe me Im not a Bush fan but I do lean to the right. While I love REM, when they open their mouths sometimes and spout their leftist views I cringe!
