One of the best videos ever! Can you make more videos about Technical Interviews in Aus?
It would be nice if you went into topics like what they typically ask you - LeetCode, System Design, Behavioral, Projects in Resume?
@@NadidLinchestein thanks dude! what kind of dev roles you looking at? can share what iâve seen (although most of australia companies use hacker rank rather than leetcode lol)
@@andrewdddo Mostly looking for Full Stack Engineer (JS + React / Python + Django)
@@NadidLinchestein nice!
just a brief summary, all companies usually have an initial call with you to ask âwhy are you applying to X company?â and what your previous experience has been. this is usually just to gauge whether you might fit the role.
for soft dev roles at startups, usually itâs a custom pair programming test. can use any language, ive used javascript so usually itâs coding questions testing whether you know about javascript concepts (i.e type casting, closure, revision etc.)
at corporations, usually they test you with hackerrank either with a self test or in a copairing session with a dev from their team. questions vary but itâs similar testing your knowledge of the language.
i havenât seen leetcode in australia.
if youâre applying to senior roles, you need to do a system design interview as well. i googled on youtube and it shows ya how to do them.
behavioral usually asks when have you working through a challenging problem, when have you disagreed with a team member, etc. glassdoor usually is your friend here to see what other candidates were asked for that company.
hope that helps!
@@andrewdddo Thank you so much
Hey, could you please share the resources you are using to learn about Blockchain?
what are you looking to learn? if high level, then start with ethereumâs website
if youâre a dev, openzepplin to grab a smart contract template and foundry forge for testing
it's only a matter of time buddy, keep it going!
thanks elon!
That Intro was incredible...how does this only have 132 views??? Respect bro!
haha thanks bro! plz like comment sub haha need the algo to pushhh
@@andrewdddo done, done and done! You deserve it!

To be honest i have seen a lot , I mean a lot of Day in the Life Of Software Engineer, since, I am a software engineer myself .but this one is really unique in terms of video graphy..truely a master piece.. loved it.thanks for making something like this
makes my day hearing this man - its exactly as you said iâve watched tons of day in the lifeâs and wanted to give it a go at making it different haha really appreciate the watch! đ
ok I'm feeling so proud of myself rightnow that I'm a beginner in website design / development just 1.5 months of experience. I have made fully funtionalal portfolio website kinda like urs in terms of layout singlepage nonscrollabe like an application with darktheme which switches to light and dark according to system theme setting and also changable by a similar sliding button.
Things I know:
GSAP
JS (enough to do everything i want, I learn the things that are necessary to make something )
HTML
CSS
WORDPESS
ELEMENTOR
etc
huge dude! share the link?
Guys this is fake, if you are a fresher, your day in the life of a software engineer is begging on the street or ripping off from Centrelink.

Hey I'm 15 years old . Like can I know how much a professional senior software engineer can earn in australia ?
at the moment probs around $140k-180k - best to check glassdoor because salaries differ depending on company / industry
@@andrewdddo I've heard that they can earn like 480k-900k is that true ?
@@UNEXPECTEDEDITSOG that amount sounds more like american tech companies - and a portion of those amounts are in stock options
@@andrewdddo Yeah Basic salary of a L3 software engineer can earn like 16k aud a month other levels can earn like 33k 50k .. more than that a month ! After u graduate in a uni of sydeny of smth like if u are well skilled u can get a job at google as a L3 . BTW are there some software engineer who earn like more money like 40k 50k a month in australia ?
