My dear Price doesn't depend on Demand factor ONLY. It depends Both on supply and demand. Supply of Goat is less in our country since ages. So for 2 days there's no business of Goat or beef 🍖🍗 Goats or sheep if produced and supplied more in the market then it's prices will come down and middle class will also be able to buy it. So there's a great scope of Goat 🐐 and sheep 🐑 Farming in our country. The gentleman has given fairly valid reason also and One should take those in consideration for successful farming 😊

My point is same, high demand causes high prices.
I am an event manager and we use mutton and chicken in 70:30 ratio. It means goat meat demand is high when we study it in bulk.
You may consider it as qurbani study......
Room prices goes higher and higher in when demand is high even in Makkah during hajj days.
It means high prices always tell you about high demands .
You are also 100% right that we can't ignore supply and demand chain.
