Kamelot was formed in Tampa Florida in 1987. I found them as Tommy joined the band(2012) Tommy is their 3rd singer. Roy Khan spent time as the 2nd singer from 98 to 2011. If I were to recommend a few songs: from Tommy, Liar, Liar(studio version) and Sacrimony (live from I Am The Empire) w/ some special guests. from the Roy period,I would recommend March Of Mephisto and Ghost Opera.

From the Roy Khan era, I'd like to add 'Coldest Winter Night, Anthem, Glory, Forever, Elizabeth (I, II & III) and Sailorman's Hymn. For Khan but not Kamelot, I'd go with Avantasia - Twisted Mind.

I saw Kamelot in October 2019, with Battle Beast and Sonata Arctica opening for them. I sang along until I was hoarse, and Tommy would occasionally throw in a extra vocal trick that wasn’t from the albums and I would literally choke trying to follow him.
I think they just announced new European tour dates, and are about to announce North American ones, but I could be wrong.
Some song suggestions: The Fourth Legacy, Silent Goddess, Forever, Karma, the Elizabeth trilogy, March of Mephisto, The Haunting(with Simone Simons), Memento Mori, Ghost Opera, The Human Stain.. and that’s just up to 2007.
Been trying to get Anastasia to react to Sonata Arctica. She'll get there eventually lol.

Hi Luna. If u like to hear more magnificent vocals than u should check out the masterpiece of "Apocalyptica & Epica - Rise Again (Official Video)" vocals by Simone Simons! U will be having chills down the spine! Btw I really start to love Kamelot more and more! Such a great band!
Tommy kinda emulates Roy Khan in Kamelot, he sounds quite different in other projects. Not saying it's a bad thing.
Some of the newer kamelot albums I feel are more authentic to Tommy’s voice, totally agree when he does their older songs he emulates Roy a lot more
@@unknownapproach9410 yeah you're probably right. I have to admit I'm not that into their later releases. Nothing to do with Tommy's performance though, he's a fantastic singer.
But I guess I should give the newer stuff another chance, as I've been listening less to this style of music in general the last few years.
@@Qyngali Silverthorn is a good album. Shadow Theory is ok not great.
You will notice that this band is not on NAPALM RECORDS. They know the business and Napalm is the worst for paying their bands. They always say well you signed the contract so you must satisfy that before any money can be paid out to you. It is a slave contract!!
