You can enter several functions from the function button , and the LED lights let you know what function is activated.
The Shimano Di2 LED lights can tell you the following;
1. Battery Charge Level
2. What shift mode is selected
3. When you are in Bluetooth pairing mode
4. When you are in derailleur adjustment mode
5. Shimano Di2 Crash Recovery Mode
