Nothing Can Separate Us from the faithful Love of Christ

We throw the word “love” around pretty freely. We use it casually to speak about everyday things we sort of a lot. More seriously, we mention our love for other people: our youngsters, our spouses, our friends, to call a couple of. But, sadly, life teaches us that each one these loves are impermanent. Our car might break down, the frozen dessert might melt, or, far more seriously, our loved ones might die or disappoint us.
Divine love is of another order. God will never disappoint us. God will never disappear. Our Lord Jesus didn't sacrifice himself on the cross only to prevent caring about his resurrection.
