Fox Snakes are some of the coolest snakes in the US in my opinion, it’s awesome that you were able to find one! The Butler’s Garters are also interesting, we only get Easterns in my area so it’s cool to see another species. Great work! - Harrison and Evan
Grew up very near that general area and herped all through my younger years. I will never forget the day we found superfox. A thick and healthy 72" and the largest we ever found and measured. Almost 40yrs ago now
I get Fox snakes in my house sometimes....Trying to block all the entries of this old house...I've had a couple this size inside....lol....Central Illinois....This one is a lot nicer than the ones I usually handle.
@@wakefieldwildlife me and my son just seen a fox snake at flatrock.it was over 4 ft.and it was black and red rusty color very pretty.were abouts you located.i am at telegraph and van born area
Believe it or not I found a mating pair of copperheads about 2 years ago around 9 in the morning I didn’t expect i think it was overcast and just happen too see that

I've caught roughly 50 fox snakes, they are beautiful animals and I'm glad to see others able to enjoy this beautiful state
