Phoebe is great character, but, she's far from underrated. Among the six, I think that descriptor belongs to either one of the Geller siblings, especially pre-season 5 Monica (the most sensible), and, post-season 4 Ross (the funniest)

when I was little, I didn't understand Phoebe, but now she is my favorite character in this show. She is so chill and fun! ❤
It's not just how many different and interesting guys she went out with it's how well she understood and empathized with each. But in the end Mike was the only one who empathized and really matched Pheobe's craziness!

Season 4+5 are the best imo, characters now well established but not parodies like the last couple of seasons. (Eg: joey’s ridiculous later season stupidity)
Exactly. Every series should last for about 5-6 seasons max. The actors get too comfortable with their characters after that and tends to be incredibly repetitive.
Also Chandler got increasingly less funny and it seemed all of them were acting poorly.
And I'm sure they changed writers. It wasn't smart/witty comedy anymore, it was dumb.
@@MB-tb3re It's more about the writing, writers don't think enough for more than 4-5 seasons after the start and after that they don't have enough time/creativity anymore to make a good story. Last seasons were less and less funny, everything was forced to make more money. It definitely isn't easy to be on top level all 10 seasons or so and with a great actors like here in Friends it was still ok to watch (unlike other sitcoms/shows).

I don't care when people compare friends with other shows like office. None of the other's had such comical side characters and great writing.
Friends had such characters every 4-5 episodes, it wasn't just dependent on the main cast. Crazy roommate Eddie by Adam Goldberg was the best ever guest appearance imho. My other favorites side characters - Paolo, Janice, Jack Geller, Mr. Heckles, David the scientist, Nora Bing, Treeger, Estelle, Joanna and of course Gunther!
They compare Friends with the Office? I couldn't even get through 1 season of the office and I still watch friends

Usually health inspectors don't give inspections when restrauants aren't open for business. Anyone can have a clean kitchen when nothing it going on.

There is a sequel in the making, reality show this time, done in a style of Animal farm, chapter on rule making/changing/modifying . Brief summary: Phoebe dating someone from LA county's health department or governor's office.

I don't recall if there was a specific reason things ultimately didn't work out in this episode. I mean, there's a minor issue in this clip, but then they worked around it. For the most part, on Friends, there's a specific reason we never see some potential love interest again. There's almost always a deal-breaker in there. Except with Joey, sometimes. But he's a player, so we don't really have to wonder why he's cozying up to someone in one episode, and then we never see them again.
