The issue is that these limit the caster , I’ve only been able to get -2.5 on caster even with dobinsons uppers that have -1.5 built in. I’m swapping out these for another manufacturer that can get -4/-5 deg
I have used 2021 tundra and drove it 50000+ miles in 9 months and it started to need alignment now, I can't imagine how a car needs alignment after a few hundred miles. To avoid seizing of alignment adjustment bolts, folks can use never seize compound. Sometimes friction is desirable which is the case for the adjustment bolts. When you are replacing an OEM part with your part, you need to have a proven reliability design through FEA fatigue design with dynamic cyclic loading. These designs have reached this point with evolution, and utmost care shall be taken to to avoid any liability issues.
My bull bar on my 2017 taco fell after the welds broke off (cheap product) and my front tires ran it over. My alignment got messed up. Will these tabs correct it, if i get the kit?
How about something like this, but in the opposite direction? Toyota seems to use the same kinda setup across their range of models. I drive an 08 scion tc that I have lowered drastically, but even on oem suspension, hitting bumps easily takes my car out of alignment.
If I just want to adjust my Camber on a 2020 Tundra do I just need to turn the front camber bolt on the Lower control arm or would I need to adjust the rear also?
I have a 2017 and hopping that it will work for mine too but afraid to pull the trigger if they don't work on my year and model. I just ordered the a set of total caos LCA Cam Tabs and wouldn't mind putting these 2 together. 🤔
Do you guys make these for the 3td gen tacoma's? If so can you send me the link? I just ordered a set of Total Chaos LCA Cam Tabs and want to make sure these will work together?
They have been installed for almost 2 years and we have no issues to report with our shop Tacoma or Andy's GX470 + the customer feedback has been nothing but positive.
I’m curious, if these are so you never need alignments anymore, why are you supposed to get an alignment after installation? Doesn’t this kit lock the alignment in a certain position?

One of the guys I wheel with will spot weld the cam in place after an alignment.

If you are going to set it and forget it couldn’t you just weld the tabs to the frame?

Installed these and my alignment specs were all good. However, i did knock my steering wheel crooked again on a small rock.
that's because your toe is going out. Adjust the outer tie rods to fix that.

I was thinking that too. The cam tab gusset kits are the same so I would think the cams are the same too.

So you taking the tabs that control caster in which the rear bushings and maxing them out to max positive or negative caster?
