I just updated my blog about the YRKKH3 promo I had watched back in January 2022 about generation 3, which is when I started watching YRKKH. I had no idea who Kartik was and definitely had no desire to find out who Akshara and Naitik were because there were just too many episodes to catch up on. So, I started to watch YRKKH from Gen3 leap episode. For my blog, I wanted to see the leap promo which hands over the torch from YRKKH2 to YRKKH3. I saw a couple, on a boat and I was like ... who are they? Never heard of the actors, never seen them before. (I knew of Harshad (hated him during Bepannah but love him as Abhimanyu Birla) and I also knew Pranali from Barrister Babu but I had ZERO idea who Akshara Goenka's parents were and I didn't even know the actors real name.
Super long story semi-long, I didn't like the actors on the boat. I had zero emotions for them and basically FFWD to the scene were Pranali is shopping for a scarf. Fast Forward 1+ year ... in Feb 2023, I decided to watch YRKKH from the beginning. Got bored because it was too traditional, 1950 type show for me. Decided to jump to YRKKH2 leap and OH MY GOD! First of all, I fell in love at first sight with the guy who said "excuse me", straight out of a raft! Was he the male lead? Second, I didn't recognize the very handsome, the very sexy guy who said "tar tar ... tongue ... tar" in Udaipur as the same guy I had seen on the boat in the YRKKH3 promo.
Like many Kaira fans, I quickly searched on the actor who played Kartik (because it WAS love at first sight for me) and quickly found someone on Twitter who very kindly updated me on everything Kartik Goenka and Mohsin Khan. Yesterday (Sept 20/23), I was reviewing my blog because a plug-in messed up my images and ended up re-watching the leap to YRKKH3 promo. No secret, I have laughed hard, loved hard, cried hard, lived happy and hard with Kartik Goenka ever since I laid my eyes on him in April 2023 (YRKKH1 from Feb 2023 then skipped in April 2023 to watch YRKKH2). So yesterday, when I re-watched the "handing over the torch" promo I SOBBED LIKE MY MOTHER HAD JUST DIED! Kartik Goenka, meri jaan, mera ladoo, meri hassi, mera sukoon died and met his Naira in heaven!
I have fallen in love (hard) with a lot of actors and characters but not one of them has left an indelible mark in my heart like Kartik Goenka has. And, I did not watch any Sirat track because I was warned on Twitter that I will end up hating him for falling in love with someone other than Naira. But the point is, now that I know who the 2 actors on the boat were (Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi) and since I have lived every second of Kartik's life with him, seeing him on that boat, even this very second as I write this, makes me sob that he is no more, except for, in the millions of hearts and in a few OTT platforms!
Today, I came looking for more YRKKH2 promos and I found this and couldn't help but comment (tell my story about how Kartik changed my Indian TV experience!). Someone on Twitter called me an idiot for loving a man who died 2+ years back. To that person I said ... FOREVER IN MY HEART! Kartik Goenka is still alive and kicking in my living room and in my heart! SO .. THERE!!!
Gosh! I am still crying as I end this comment! Kartik should have died with Naira! With all the promises he made about "there will be no one else for him", the writers should have killed them both over that cliff!
Can you tell me from where you show this serial from beginning cus I can't find them.
