I'm glad Disney is not neglecting these sabers, it's a way for kids to be able to get a part of the experience of building their own lightsaber, without the astronomical cost of the Navii's Custom sabers. Also, if you are an adult fan that just wants to have a saber to fool around, you can also go with these and save quite a buck. Plus, these are way more durable for play fighting than the Navii's Sabers, which is nice for the kids.
i am a child and i think the savi’s saber thing is overpriced, but this thing in tomorrow land is cool

I wish that they should’ve made the yellow and white cross guard lightsabers hilts at Disneyland, I will have to write that in my review to them.

I've been watching these videos for years and I always asked myself when will we get white and yellow blades! Now we finally got them i am so very happy to see that
I was so focused on my lightsaber i built from Disney world in the past on one of my summer vacations with my family in Florida. But I ultimately forgot the Disney parks updates for changes and new stuff 2 years ago. But the rumors are true. Disney parks adds yellow lightsabers from both the Jedi Temple Guards seen in the clone wars and rebels series and Rey Skywalker's lightsaber before the end credits of Episode 9 The Rise of Skywalker. They also added the white lightsabers seen from only one character in star wars, Ahsoka Tano. I'm ultimately impressed and very proud they add the yellow blades. I can't wait to get one yellow lightsaber whether at Disney parks or maybe online in the future.

That would be awesome. I am planning on going to Disney World in September and it will be fun comparing the two build your own lightsabers they have to offer. It would be awesome to see you create a new saber with either the yellow or white blade piece because it is such a unique design

I would say go ahead and get the new pieces. It looks like they added mace windu pieces as well as white and yellow blades. I would say get them for a comparison video. Old build your own vs new build your own.
You can now make a Mace Windu hilt from one of the pieces shown, and you can also make the Yoda hilt (used to be discontinued) from the pieces I can see over there. I believe that the piece you didn't recognize was the Obi-Wan and Luke emitter.
Update 1: Luke and Obi-Wan have different lightsabers, and I can actually see there's a sleeve that goes over the entire chassis which is Luke's. There's the black buttons on the side and there's the green and red arrows above them.
Update 2: Obi-Wan's pommel is there. It has the 6 rectangular bits sticking out but above those rectangular bits there are more rectangular bits that are thinner. Look at Obi-Wan's hilt from Revenge of the Sith and you'll know what I mean.
Update 3: The Count Dooku emitter looks like there's a screw in the guard to prevent it from popping off. Dan-O mentioned in his "Ultimate Build Your Own Lightsaber Clone Wars" video that if you pop off the guard on Dooku's saber it will continue to pop off. I believe that this screw is now made to prevent that from happening.
These are all the new pieces I could see, but that's all. I can't see anything new. There are new pieces but some of them look like generic saber pieces. I'm only putting this here because I know some are interested. Dan-O was actually the guy that got me interested in sabers. He got me first interested in saber toys, and then my love for them grew from there. I am not the proud owner of a custom lightsaber installed with Proffie and Neopixel. Thank you Dan-O I wouldn't be here with one of my favourite hobbies without you.
Also, Dan-O! Try buying a lightsaber from LGT. They're a more affordable option for a Proffie Neopixel saber. They're really amazing to start out and I highly recommend them!
Good to see this still going, I have a bit of a collection of these from my past trips.
Speaking of, I got Mace Windu and Dooku's Legacy Lightsabers for this month.

I'm glad they are still adding new pieces to this!!!! :D I actually prefer this over the Savi's ones because it's meant to be played with without the blade breaking but I do wish they had Kyber Crystals too!!!! :D

You can make mace windus lightsaber now, that’s the pieces you said were new they are mace windu pieces.

The one in hk actually got worst. They don’t have that much pieces. And they don’t have deluxe anymore
They made a new version of the Build Your Own Lightsaber Kiosk where the blade goes fully inside of the hilt. unfortunately, *(from what I have heard online)* they had removed all of the old parts and now it's only Sequels and High Republic parts
Surprised they brought back Mace Windu pieces but updated versions & same with Yoda pieces and I do remember you saying 3 or 4 years or longer than that they removed the old pieces when The Force Awakens came out in 2015 and they’ve updated the hilts & most of the pieces. A lot of debate on the yellow blades that wasn’t an option & White is here maybe for cloned Starkiller’s I noticed when playing The Force Unleashed 2 that cloned Starkiller’s at the final battle with Darth Vader were using white lightsaber’s Dan-O glad it’s finally updated and it’s been a while you’ve done one of the build your own lightsaber videos.

I’m planning a Walt Disney World trip later in the year and if they too kept the old stations, then I’ll have a good price alternative allowing me to also build a droid.
Was this still available at Disney World in Disney Springs also?
@@nicoleminiuk Unfortunately I didn’t see a station in Disney Springs, I looked. Thankfully however the build a lightsaber station in the Star Tours gift shop is still around
They shouldn't have changed them... :( I mean it's nice that there are Yellow and White blades, along with Mace Windu and Yoda Pieces, but to change the designs of preexisting ones is just a waste, In my opinion at least.

Yes they are. In some situations they have cast members handling the pieces but you can still build what you want. Do to Covid their policies keep changing. But yeah it still exists

Hey so I have recently played the Tales From Galaxy's Edge game in vr and there's a small side quest where you play as a new jedi by the name of Ady Sun'zee and I was wondering if it were possible to somewhat make a savi's workshop version of the lightsaber. Looking at it, I feel like the Elemental Nature set would work best

What if The Build Your Own Lightsaber has other New Blade Colors as well like Darksaber Blade, even Silver Blades, also Magenta/Pink/Fuchsia, Cyan, Turquoise, Orange, Indigo, Amber/Brown, Bronze/Fire Orange, Burgundy, Carmine (Bane’s Heart), Pewter, Gold, Scarlet, Blood Red, Vermilion, Cayenne and Copper?
Kinda annoyed that they got rid of the thing where there were the kyber crystals in them

You should buy a saber from build-a-saber.com. There’s 3 kits to choose from and a 94$ subscription to get parts mailed monthly as well as other benefits. It has a core like David workshop does but it looks like it is gonna be compatible with saberforge parts. In hilt electronics with several sound fonts and rgb led for every color blade. For an extra $120 you get a second core and blade to make 2 sabers and a couplet to make a double bladed saber. Totaling to maybe around $350.
Correction, it’s $269 for the kit and $102 for the extra core and blade. Even though $371 seems steep, ultrasabers has sabers of great quality and higher end sound boards for almost $400 and even above that. So I do think it’s worth the price. 2 sabers from imperial sabers build a saber for $371 vs 1 ultra saber for $400. And super customizable.

Do you know any way of hiring someone to video us doing the lightsaber build? Is that allowed?? We will be there to do both the lightsaber and droid build on April 21st. Any help and advice would be GREATLY appreciated.
That’s a new one for me. If anything I would suggest joining one of the Facebook groups centered around Galaxy’s edge and posting there. There is a Savi’s builders group, a Galaxy’s edge trading post group etc… but again that’s a first I’ve heard of, so not totally sure where to start.

I believe they still do but a cast member builds for you. You just tell them what pieces you want. That may have changed but that was the situation about 8 months ago. Just not a lot of reporting comping from Disneyland Paris.
