I absolutely love how Pink was like “that needs to change” and continued to help Davina and didn’t just forget about her.
This woman is the best vocalist in the world at this time. I work at a machine shop with a bunch of cranky old men. It is hot, sweaty, dirty and generally, everyone is pissed off. I brought in my bluetooth sub-box and at lunch, I blasted Davinas' cover of 'What about us?' It was like a moth to a light. One by one, those angry men came closer to the speaker. Nobody said a word. They just stood there and I could see them being touched by her voice. I am grateful for Davina and her talents. Thank you for sharing them with the world!! I love this video because you are being so real and so honest with your feelings and experiences; you are being you, and that's what really counts. Also, don't ever worry about your accent. I love it. We all know that you are Dutch, so it would be real weird if you spoke English without an accent, wouldn't it? Besides, your English is very clear and very articulate, better than some folks I know here in America where it's their native language. I also find it amusing that you use the contraction "y'all" in English. I live in the deep south here in America where that word is very common, but outside the southern states here they don't even use it. I'm wondering where you picked it up, because I love that you use it. Love you and your music. Stay real and the best of luck to you.
