What a massive video! Looks like an epic trip. Been to a couple of these places, happy to see them again... in fact, the Setouchi Islands and the Izu peninsula are two of my favorite areas in Japan. I think the Shodoshima olive soda has a weird, oily mouthfeel... less weird than the olive oil based soft serve, though, where the vanilla mixes with a faint hint of olive. Glad to see I'm not the only person who gets hungry at the aquarium. And I loved seeing the Bridge at Izu Kogen again, much better to drive there by car than to treck all the way through the park to it, it seems.
This took me for 3 weeks! Wow, you even traveled more than I did! Yeah, only anglers agreed with the thought we had in aquarium
My family and I used to go to kamakura when we lived in Japan. The location was close to our home, short train ride. Great video thank you.

Nice travel vlog! LOL, true fishermen can't wonder every time they see a body of water what fish are in there. Beautiful scenery and great looking food. You can only imagine what it was like when those sites were occupied in feudal times and the Daimyos who lived there. Thanks for the post and glimpse of the Japanese countryside.
Haha, you must be an angler too! Yes, every time I pass no matter how small the stream or water body is, I just look into whether there is deep enough for fish anyway!
Yup, that uphill at castle was hard enough on paved road. You know, paved one. So, long time ago, it should be even harder on unpaved steep uphill with iron armors. And, arrows fall from sky like rainfall...gush, that is hell.

It's -24c here today so I'm inside drinking green tea and watching your latest adventure... the best soup I ever had was from a small restaurant in Nikko.. funny how certain things like that stay so strongly in your memory years later. 1:27:40 It is interesting to go inside the statue and see the details of how the many panels were assembled to construct it. There was a building surrounding the statue but it was washed away in a giant tsunami hundreds of years ago, similar to the one in 2011.
You had been in Nikko! Yeah, I wish I could go inside of the statue. At least, I could see there are two ventilation on back though.

神奈川住まいの自分にとって鎌倉大仏は割と身近な存在で、よく近くを通ります。スポポンさんが神奈川まで足を伸ばしていたと思うと嬉しいですねえ。ところで大仏から徒歩圏内ですぐ近くの長谷寺には行きました？?奈良の長谷寺と同じく超巨大な11面観音が見学できるんですよ。巨大さで度肝を抜かれて皆さん圧倒されるので。。行かれたかな？と思いましたが。。
とにかくスポポンさんの旅動画楽しみました。もっと長くてもいいくらいです。テレビの旅番組なんかより全然良いです！

6日目、掛川辺りは自分の地元近くでしたので結構ドキドキしながら見てました
三保の松原も行かれたんですね
海岸に出られた時釣竿持ってくれば良かったとおっしゃってましたが、その場所の8〜9月あたりでしたらソウダガツオやシイラが釣れていたかも…w
釣りの動画も良いのですが、こういった旅行記も面白いので大変とは思いますがまたよろしくお願い致します^ ^

I swear that this whole cost is true, though there are bit differences by the currency rate at that time. The point is that I only stayed in the hotels around 40-60 USD/ day and traveled alone
Plus, I sometimes I skipped meals if there was no special cuisines at that spot

ナビの「この先カーブです」「了解！」の会話、ふふふってなりました。
ナビってたまにアレですよね。県境とか旅行すると「奈良に入りました」「和歌山に入りました」とか延々言ってきて、うざ可愛いです。自転車のナビは、左の直後に右に曲がらせようとしたり（しかも畑とか）、道のない壁に激突させようとしたり、どうやって通るねんっていうほぼ溝みたいな道を案内してきたりしてポンコツです。
水族館のルアー落としたい、わかりすぎます。サビキ落としてバババババってとりたい。うほー入れ食いじゃーって。

大阪住みなので大阪が近づくにつれテンションがあがっていき、大阪が写ってテンションMAXになったあと、膝から崩れ落ちました！
大阪で人混みなく綺麗な場所といえば、真っ白な石畳と青い海が広がる泉南りんくう公園なんかは人混みもなく、周辺での釣りも楽しいですよ。千早赤坂村の棚田ライトアップとかも（動画あげてますが）最高に美しいですよ（もう必死）
ずーっと楽しく見られて癒されました！また旅行動画あげてください！

The tree at 1:01:30 is popular called the Cannonball tree (Couroupita guianensis), the flowers are very fragrant. I have seen it at Entebbe Botanical Garden in Uganda. The fruits should be edible, but I have never tried it.
