an unsung hero for sure - my first and favourite synth purchase.
One of my favorite mono synth. The Pulse+ v1 was my first Synth when I started to produce electronic music 20 years ago. Nice feature of the Pulses 2: going to Preset 500 will create a random preset, each time you switch to preset 500. (preset 100 for Pulse 1)

especially the more unusual functions where it combines two mod sources. mod to detune on the stacked oscillator 1 option gives interesting results.
Almost bought one, the matrix is great for the way it is set up, much easier than the Blofeld that uses the same 4 knobs.

Martin you really are a master of sound synthesis and have a beautiful musical taste. As well as introducing me to synths that I had never considered. I would like to kindly ask you which keyboard midi controller you suggest because when I can I tend to buy the synth in rack version for space reasons. Unfortunately, I don't have the space you have so I choose this route. So the question is if you were to purchase a keyboard midi controller which one would you purchase ? Thank you very much 🙏

So coool, dass Du ein Video über den Pulse2 publiziert hast! Meiner ist seit einiger Zeit etwas traurig in einem Eck. Nun hast Du mich motiviert den wieder mal in die Finger zu nehmen. Ohne Frage ist der klanglich bemerkenswert.

Das Album "7x8" von "espaces sonores" (auf Bandcamp) wurde komplett mit einem Pulse2 realisiert. Gehört zu meinen Ambient-Referenzen.
Benutzt Du den Pulse2 regelmässig?
Ich habe den Pulse erst seit einer Woche, daher kann ich noch keine Langzeit-Erfahrungen dazu abgeben. Das Album höre ich mir mal an!

Top good ! You already have very good synthesizers but you have heard the Hydrasynth. I think it would work for your ambient music.

Thank you! I use the Valhalla DSP reverbs. Mostly Vintage Verb and Super Massive.

Is there a way to link up multiple pulse 2's? for a true polyphonic synth?
Good question, I know that Pulse 1 could be chained but I have no idea about the Pulse 2!

Ich hab immer noch den Pulse 1 hier rumliegen. Hab ihn aber schon lange nicht mehr verwendet. Evtl mal in einen Track einbauen :-)

Wow, even the Pulse 2 was wobbly knobs. My Pulse 1 has wobbly knobs. Two of the buttons on my Microwave 1 stopped working. And some of the knobs on my Microwave XT decayed, cracked apart into little pieces and fell off, despite rarely being touched and being kept in an immaculate smoke free temperature regulated studio for a 15 years. I have no other piece of gear that has ever had anything like this happen except Waldorf stuff. Everything in my studio is perfect and all the Waldorfs fell apart for no reason. I'm skeptical of anything they make now, the build quality level turned out to be lower than Behringer in the long run.
