@@sagewaffle6909it's not true. Kainan is full of talented players who can all play well without Maki. The thing is you need more than 2 (or more than 3 defending on how skilled are the defenders) people to mark him to actually have some kind of effect on his perfect play so he's the most flashy and stands out.
Jin (him especially who's the freaking best 3 point shooters in Slam dunk), Nobunaga, the center who resembles Akagi a bit and the guy with glasses are all very strong dependable players who can score very much.

En el partido contra Kainan, si Ryonan hubiese tenido algún jugador con el talento y la voluntad de Hanamichi o Mitsui hubiesen ganado... no fue Ryonan vs Kainan, fue LITERALMENTE Sendoh vs Kainan. Siempre me gustó más cuando jugaba de alero que de base. Siento que perdía potencial al jugar de armador, dado que tenía un peso encima en cubrir la parte defensiva, lo cual era un desgaste tremendo. En cambio, cuando jugaba en ofensiva siendo alero mostraba su mayor potencial generando un quiebre dentro del juego. A nivel estatal, no había mejor alero que él.
Nunca entendí porque no jugaba Ikegami cuando estaba Fukuda, cuando Koshino podía ir a la banca como escolta e Ikegami cubrir y reforzar la parte defensiva, dado que Fukuda dejaba mucho que desear defendiendo.
