I'm a guy that's your age and I was just diagnosed with cancer. Do you know of any programs for people with cancer to go on a guided day trip? I've been bank fishing my whole life and I would love to have a killer fishing day before the chemo makes me too weak.

For whatever it's worth, dudes who play baseball end up making really good anglers. No idea why, but there are several pros that have failed at baseball but became great at Bass fishing.

Hi. My wife and I are big fans. She cheers for you guys and fuss just like she watching the Alabama Auburn game. Your drone shots are nice. This is just an F.Y.I.. I'm a licensed drone pilot. Your drone shots in the clouds and above the clouds are against FAA regulations. You have to remain 500ft below the clouds and 2000ft away from them. Also a drone can only be flown up to 400ft unless you are over a structure and you can go 400ft over that structure out to 400ft. The FAA isn't searching for this but their are haters out there that will report you if they see it. Now bring home that blue trophy so my wife can stop yelling at you Matt and Canterbury.

Finally back to a REAL bass tournament. Sick of those boring smallmouth tournaments where all you do is watch guys stare down at their screens. Thats only fun if youre the one doing it...

I fished the Mississippi since I was pretty much a kid... it was close by, and I could ride my bike to it. I learned the seasonal patterns, caught Crappie at times, white bass, channel cats, bullheads, and big, really big Carp. I could give the carp out to the locals, and they knew how to cook them (with all of those bones). But we caught a lot of stripes bass also. At the time I was doing this though, around 1970 or so, the river was so polluted. But fish are resilient, especially in the Mississippi. I may not have eaten them, but I loved fishing for them. I'd use mayflies sometimes as well, when they were everywhere - on a popper bait. Anyway Scott, thanks. It's a great memory for me. I fished off Campbell Island if you care to look it up.

Youâve been a huge inspiration for me. Last month I finished second in my club tournament with 15.83 lbs by far my biggest bag to date and I was within minutes of the spot you fished when you won your first FLW tournament.
My favorite snacks are Elk, Buffalo, jerky, and smoked chinook salmon.

fishing stoddard year round. Spring thru Fall fish it for perch and gills then ice fishing it all winter for gill perch and crappie. And there is a bigger and better house in stoddard to stay at. It on the north side of the bay right off the water.

watch you today fish my home area's lol yes the pike are bad on robbing lures but with new regs pike over 30 are to be put but and under 30 are keepers. my best bass is 5pds for large mouth and it was on plastic worm and small mouth 19 inch and that was on a spinner i made. God luck this weekend.
