28:30 that's a destroking valve. In a closed - center system, it unloads the pump for easier starting. Really helps in winter.

I actually end up putting an electric destroke valve on it in a later video. Thanks for watching.

Great repair! Nothing better than old iron in perfect working order. The emblem is a nice touch, she deserves it. 👏

    Great video!
Im having problems with my clutches not engaging fast enough and having a hard time getting out of a hole. Then I lost my brakes so I'm going to try and bleed them. I changed the two filters and cleaned the screen but didn't help enough

I never had to do anything with the clutches but I did loose my brakes due to the ball in the master cylinder falling out. Thanks

What a great video, much appreciated! You mentioned you needed six, I thought only four were needed? What was the part number for John Deere for the 6 O-rings? In your video, you showed the top seal number appreciated very much! On mine some of the shims very thin and are beginning to tear up. I need to replace those as well, I hope I can find the part number. Looks like mine was rebuilt before because some of the shims are .010 thick in the assembly. Appreciate any comments or thoughts you might have!

Hello. Great video on steering. My steering is hard to turn and getting worse on my 300.
Replacing o-ring shouldake my hoist cylinders run smoother too. Thanks

Are you fixing the stiring wheel because my is to loose

The steering wheel has to have some play back and forth to operate the valves inside of it from what I understand. With that being said mine does have some play but I wouldn’t consider it enough to worry about. A lot of time the play is in the linkage under the machine.
