Im almost certain there are no thrusters. Just diesel engines. They have a tough job getting crew up into a boat. Ive been w/t&t out in Galveston Anchorage and they put us on the Jacobs ladder in 3-5ft seas which isnt easy. We call them Launch Boats though. T&T has some real nice boats compared to others Ive been on.

But the making the new ships from the metal is less expensive than to recycle the old one, because the process from the mineral extraction into the shop making will be paid, and the process of the metal cutting and placing it in the stove cost more expensive, also needs to clean the old paint and plastic.
