Fun With The Dane-RC Leprechaun 😃

Time: 07.05.2021 - all day long 😄
Location: Molnesfjellet, Vigra, Norway goo.gl/maps/c5...
Northerly slope, 7-9,5 ms, 7 C, but really nice in the sun.
Did some changes on the Tx setup since last time - and it was way better to fly. Had a lot of fun. I recommend all who love flying RC to get such an "old-timer" - just to experience the fun and difference it is from flying newer, more sofisticated planes.
Had some fun with the Amigo after flying the Leprechaun.

I built the Dane rc leprechaun v2 last year and there is no way I could pick it up from the tip and launch like that. It is so heavy... the model calls for at least 16 oz of weight in the nose to reach proper cg. So instead of adding dead weight I added an electric motor and still had to add nose weight even with a 3s 5000 mah lipo... some serious design errors in this model. I love It none the less.

Hi, Michael 🙂 Have no experience with v2 .. not even v1 😄 This is the original prototype of Dane-RC. And I'm told it's a little different from v1 regarding CG. Happy with it. Flies very well.

Har heldigvis ikke så mye å ordne med fly før sesongen. 4 seilfly jeg skal fokusere på denne våren/sommeren. 2 er flygeklar, 1 må settes sammen, gjøres radio-klar og testflyges, og på siste må haleplanet bare festes noe bedre med et lite fiks 👍
