The 2.0 is fricken awesome man I just got mine today the shaft shape and white paint job is off the charts (went w/ LTX)
Best shaft yet i put one on my rebel to see if i liked it and now its my main short pole. I liked it so much when i built my new goalie stick for this fall i bought another and put it on my new stringking 2g strung with ecd 12d striker and its a dream.

Finally. Love the no flex profile. Makes more sense because when you look at hockey and how the sticks have kickpoints, the only reason the work is because the release like a slingshot from the ground and in lacrosse the only weight released is the ball so it doesn’t slingshot until after the ball is gone. Just makes more sense for accuracy
It definitely fills our product line out as but if you really want no flex check out our new carbon 2.0 box model shaft that has #noflex
Do you know if it affects the speed at all?

Greg: would you recommend an alloy shaft or carbon shaft for a young player (age 12) who’s been playing since he was 4 yes old? Offensive middie. If you recommend carbon which if your shafts would you recommend? Carbon 2.0 or carbon pro speed or power? Thanks

man these carbon shafts have come a long way. anytime i hear them mentioned, all i can think about are those god awful graphite shafts from the 90s
Those were shafts we not to touch back then had the potential but just never got there
How does the strength and durability compare to the carbon 3.0? I know that this shaft is a lot lighter but I’m wondering about the durability

Hey ECD. Could you please explain to me what the difference is between flex 1 and 5? i know 1 is stiffer but what are the advantages/disadvantages of the flex? I’m deciding between the Carbon 3 and LTX for my bday. Thanks!!
Flex 1 is ultra stiff for players who want something to feel like an alloy shaft. Flex 5 is a natural flex for players who want some flex but not a lot

We will try but the Carbon pro 2.0 is nothing to sleep on it is very light for a pole

It feels like our sandpaper finish if that is what you are referring to

Ohhhh yeah! The Rebel Offense and LTX are awesome together really balanced set up
You should make a focus 2.0
We talk a lot about making a new metal shaft but are always looking for a way to make it stand out vs all the competitors that already make metal shafts

yeah i use a green nike vapor and it’s the worst thing ever but i don’t have the money to buy a new shaft, especially at this price, and especially since i just broke my head and had to get new mesh for my backup sooooooo im keeping my shaft

Its really a feel thing. Many like the feel of carbon fiber but not flex.

It would yes but we will not recommend the two together. We generally recommend all face off players to use metals shafts however if you were to use the weapon x and a carbon fiber shaft the power would be the best combo

Yes, before you fully attach the head make sure the screw holes are fully lined up
what does kick point mean?(just curious)
john abrams it means it amplifies flex in certain areas of the stick. Lower kick points mean quick release. Higher ones mean more power. There’s also hybrid kickpoints In hockey sticks which does both. I hope that get transferred over to lacrosse

Im afraid it is, on their website they say that the Carbon MTX is basically an improved version, it looks exactly the same but with different colored text on it. I got one of the LTX’s last year instead of an MTX and im wondering if I made a bad decision, I still love it so much though.

Can you put a weapon x on it, because I know you can’t put a weapon x on a carbon pro
I wouldn't recommend this if you are facing off, usually we recommend face off players to highly consider an alloy shaft as they tend to work better for the position. But if you are interested in using a carbon fiber faceoff shaft the carbon pr0 2.0 power would be the better option.

Definitely something we are looking for but we are looking for some new materials to try out to make it something different then the rest of the metal shafts that are currently out there

ha ha, you obviously weren't around when titanium and scandium shafts were brand new to the game. this thing would have cost $300 back then

The focus with the LTX was to go light but also maintain the durability we needed.
