C4s are excellent, from my experience of owning 2, in regard to the AC, C4s' rectifiers often blow out. Clean & Low miles on this car for the year.
Are they reliable IN COMPARISON to the c5 base?
Hey Nick. I think at your asking price this car is a great value.
I have a few C4 corvettes and one 1985 with 4K original miles. That corvette was a great deal and ran like mad.
I had an 84 cross fire. Truth told, that was a damn good car.
3 over 4 trans with push button overdrive. Fun ride also.

@@frankdobert923 I don’t think we will see any Stingray split window prices on them but really nice low mile examples can bring 10 to 20 grand.
The ZR1’s are little more desired.
I see driving and running C4’s around 4500 and up. All just depends on condition and mileage.
The z28’s/IROK Camaros are gaining some collectibility.
Nice but needs some newer rims to update it a little in my opinion.

First let me say, I'm a C4, C5, and C6 Corvette junkie! I love your Corvettes that are not garage queens and are priced for the working man/woman. I live in Pennsylvania and these Vettes are almost doubled in price. Most importantly I love your transparency for the imperfections and flaws on your Vettes. It truly makes you a great businessman. If I didn't already own a Corvette I'd seriously consider your establishment.

I probably should have waited a month or so and bought this one! The plastic gears in the headlight motors go bad, not too difficult to replace and brass gears are available. I wish my 85’s digital dash looked as great as this one. Mine also has a bad brake booster which is a PITA to replace. Great looking C4 at a fantastic price!!!

I had a "wired" remote control car in this same color combo of this car in 86'. Parents got it from Sears. Would only go straight while you walked with it, with no steering. Reverse would back it up and turn. That's how it would turn around..

$1200 USD for a new 1 piece acrylic roof panel + $ 175 USD for a rebuilt headlight motor (each) + $675 USD Coupe Body Weatherstrip with rear window kit (might as well do all of them. So for around $2000 more to sort out the main issues (assuming you can do the work yourself or have a really good buddy that knows what he or she is doing) You have one sweet ride that handles, goes and will never be made like this again. I think they're just classy sports cars that can hold their own and are meant to be driven.
I love the prancing pony and the Teutonic precision machines but there is just something about an American car that say's "I'm doing this my way because I can."

Looks identical to my 1986. Same color inside and out. I have 57k original miles. How much would my car be worth? I’ve had it for over 30 years. Mostly stored in heated garage.

I have had three C4 Corvettes, a 1987, and 2 1994s. I think these are the most attractive Vettes since the 1967s. Unfortunately, although I can easily afford to take care of my cars, new parts for the anti-lock brakes, cruise control, slip control, climate control buttons and pretty much any electrical component are unavailable for these cars. So my beautiful 1994 Corvette with 49k miles on it, is starting to become partially unusable. Two local Corvette Repair Specialty shops are unwilling to work on it.

My God I wanted to scream at her when she tried to beat and pry the headlight that would not do not do that !!!!! The gear on that side is probably stripped in that headlight motor.
The only thing I don't like is the rims other than that love the car
Mine has the same rims - original. Can’t find them anymore. To keep mine original, I had them refurbished to get the blemishes out, to the tune of $350 each!

I don't want to bust you up Nick probably a good number on that one in the '80s we had a party at the house because Larry's mom was the manager at Van Nuys plant that made that bet Crossfire injection Larry got the second one off the line after Mom big problems with those I had a 95 LT1 that was a fast vet you had one it's so quick for the price you had good
