Hi T-Rex! Looking forward to seeing you again soon! Glad you’re enjoying the videos!! It’s something we could do while everything was shut down. Also help people training at home!

This video could use a voice over since the leaf blower is so loud. Cut out the old audio and voice over if you feel like it. Good content otherwise.

      C. C. Thanks for the suggestion. Yeah I wasn’t happy about the lawn mower in the back. But I wanted to get this out quickly since in Sigung Bustillo’s Memorial Day.

8:53 Application. Although not always will your opponents hand stick for trapping but hey in Wing Chun we have a saying Stop what comes, follow what goes. This meaning as soon as youve deflected with WC hands and your opponents attack retreats/contracts you attack. I favor JKD in this WC principle coz of the stance's fencing movement in striking covering distance fast and retreating. I love how kicking used in a fencing approach.

@@mellonhead9568 The thing is in the post development of JKD, Bruce Lee declared "Chi Sau is out". Bruce Lee discarded it in the curriculum, what you see in the video is a dude who attends seminars of Taky Kimura, who tries to preserve the early JKD in Seattle, when chi sau was a major part of it. So in terms of streetfights, chi sau is absolutely obsolete

@@corkystorky Interesting i wonder what JKD would have really developed into. Wonder why he would cut out chi sau when its the foundation of sensitivity in WC hands techniques in JKD. Its The way the hands adapt to forces from different directions to open an attacking angle.

@@mellonhead9568 The thing is, in a real fight, nobody in his right mind would stick out his arms and stay put, allowing the chi sau practitioner do his way to you like you're a dummy. That's not how a street fight works, otherwise JKD would be greatly embarrassed. Even if you watch MMA fights, rarely would anyone succeed in applying chi sau. Hence, Yip Man died with a heavy heart towards his former student Bruce Lee.
