They could’ve totally been a thing while her and Nikolas took a break (cuz you know the writers always split the good ones up at some point just to shake them up).
Yes, this is the story Guza and Riche had planned and wanted to do, then Guza left. JFP replaced Riche. JFP went and created Courtney in Guza's absence. When Guza returned, he decided to incorporate his original idea into this Fan February episode.
@@sonyab1974 He said in the magazines at the time he got tired of having his stories interfered with. When he came back in 2002, that's why he asked for executive producer credit as well so he'd have more control over his stories, but Brian Frons eventually had his hand in the pot editing things.
