for some reason it's either too loud or laggy to play through my mic what do i do?
For some reason the music wont play through the output but everything else is as it should be. I also need this to work with my text to speech program because I cant speak well

this works, but I think the noise cancelation might be making my songs sound like crap, since that's what's been happening when I run microphone tests (when I play commentary videos it sounds fine)

The microphone part works for me but, when I set the cable input to default device I can't hear out of my headphones when they are selected as default communications device.

if i set cable input as my default device in playback i cant hear anything through my headphones
what i used to do is put my phone to my mic and play something. but then i found out voicemod soundboard. so i did all that stuff and now it works.
problem, none except Roblox crashing if i have the option to output, so mostly just has no buttons or option to change output, but seems to play the music, but idk if it sounds good.
another thing is, it also takes in game audio, so if I play jailbreak or if someone talks to me, ill also be heard. is there a soundboard type of thing?
Is there specific apps we can use for it to work. If so, is Spotify one of them?

i had the same problem and just fixed it myself, what you wanna do is click on what you wanna set as the default communication device and click the arrow pointing downwards on the right hand side of set default, once you do that default communication device should pop up and just click that

it sucks as Vb cable never worked, tried it long ago and until now still does not work same thing as always, done all the instructions if its just a different kind or doing it wrong but I try others for a change

(edit: nvm i figured it out, silly me changed the output on my taskbar to my headset to finish the video before I did the steps haha)
Somehow when I put switch the output of the Roblox setting VC into my headphones, it automatically switches to the cable input even though I put to my headphones. Is there a solution to this?

You don't want to select both outputs for volume, what you want to do is go to the "recording" tab and select "listen" on the other side of the program. You only want to be playing audio out to the "VB input" selection and then listen to the microphone end "VB output" of it if that makes sense. Hope this helps :)
