I just watched the 1981 and Terry did seem rather convinced Cyprus would win on their first attempt. Greece gave this 12pts, to which Terry replied "well deserved"!

@@JeSuisRene I remember how flabbergasted he was at the voting and how spread out the votes were - which they were, to a weird extent. Cyprus were 36 points behind 5th placers Ireland!

Excellent job!!! Looking back I really get upset to realize again and again how this contest has always been manipulated by groups of countries with close links, which this or the other way control the valuation of the songs, a process in which music comes always last if it comes at all!

@@Massev6871 one of the girls alexia had a great career in greece and went to the states as a jazz and soul singer, she is a voice coach now, the guy who plays the piano was a great compose in greece even before this song, but then was accused of been involved in an underage sex scandal and has been out of the spotlight for a very long time.
the guy with the blonde hair had a very mediocre career i guess.
the other 2 i have no idea

@@Massev6871 Hi , the tall singer can be found singing all sorts of covers of songs on youtube as rogerleecyprus. I came across the clips by accident and he is good. He has mixed a singing career with being a Tennis pro and coach in Cyprus apparently.
