  • This video will show you how to COMPLETELY turn off the traction control system on your 2009-2014 F-150 truck, it disables your ABS system but will allow you to drive the truck with no traction system so you can off-road without the system cutting your power

    The Eaton Detroit TruTrac is installed and no codes, left the wiring intact so I don’t have worry about terminating it, just left it plugged into the housing. After I break in the new ring and pinion I’ll find out how my traction control will react. I like the rear diff locked for drifting on dirt or plowing up sand dunes but also an everyday driver.

    Yeah but I don’t see how it limits u by having it on,because in the mud u need traction,not wheel spin ,as the rear ends are all open now,so the traction system act like a limited slip ,in fact a better version depending on who u talk to

    • @davidfriessen6579

    • @MI_TurkeySlayer
      @MI_TurkeySlayer Před 2 lety

      You think that traction control automatically shoots out spikes from the tires to make it to where it will grip in the mud and not spin the tires or something? No, to make it through the mud, the kind of mud we're talking about, you need power actually going to the wheels, not the vehicle cutting power to those wheels the moment it starts to feel any slip.

    • @Platinumtag
      @Platinumtag Před rokem

      Bc traction control would only but power in one wheel that need the power ....but with it disable u get full power at all wheel and equal amount at all time just that u can't go crazy bc u can ran of road if one wheel slip and other don't... So once it rain u just have to drive slow ....but great for mud like a 4x4 and great for racing....as it provide more power..
