Oh God please forgive me, my failures are as numerous as the hairs on my head. Christ, please help me, I am so broken and depressed by my sins. I am so weak in the fight against evil going on within me. Please Lord, cut my wicked sinful nature from me. I am so tired of sinning and failing and being weak. I can barely go a day without this fleshly addiction being fed. Oh God I am so sorry, but it feels my apologies are nothing. I repent of the same sin so frequently, almost daily. I should be done, I should have stopped sinning a while ago. Surely if I cared enough I would get a grip on my life and stop being so unrighteous. Christ, please have mercy on me when you judge the living and the dead, please forgive me for all that I have done wrong. My past, present, and future sins drag me into a continuous pit of sadness and weakness, a never-ending cycle. I deserve a thousand hells, I deserve death and pain for my sins, please Lord wash me clean of my disgusting sin and unrighteousness. I don’t deserve to walk the same earth You did 2,000 years ago, breathe the same air, and enjoy the peace and mercy of You, oh God. I do not deserve a loving mother, as You have the blessed Virgin Theotokos, I do not deserve the family that You had, I am not even worthy to die the way You did. Wow this is an angelic voice! I am newer to the Orthodox Christian way, from a protestant. I am in love with Christ, the Holy trinity in a way Ive never been. I feel like I have had my cry of my life " Lord I just want to go home", not meaning death but I have always felt like I was never comfortable or at peace and belonged somewhere else, likened to one who is homesick, I just didnt know where home was. I thought the whole point of being Christian is that you look forwards to death and joining God in heaven. When He wants to take you, He will. Asking for life is just a personal favor. Frankly a bit selfish.

I bought the CD "Gates of Repentance" chanted by Father Apostolos Hill several years ago. It's an incredible CD that I listen to nearly every day during Great Lent. I love all 27 chants, but I especially enjoy #11 Troparion of the Sunday of St. Gregory Palamas; #18 Troparion of Saturday of St. Lazarus; and #20 and #21 Alleluia Antiphons for the Bridegroom Service and Troparia of the Bridegroom Service. I am so glad that I bought this CD and I highly recommend it.

I think I'm in sin and there is no one to hear my confession for a long long time... God has not abandoned me , I have abandoned Him I know... But I feel so cut off like there is no hope for me. If He wants me back home Hell provide a way.
This has been my feeling since the pandemic started. I was about to try again, repentance, confession, communion, church life, then I let the pandemic stop it all. But I pray, and confess, alone for now, and hope like St Mary of Egypt, I will be worthy before I repose.
I feel as if something terrible will happen tomorrow on July 4th, I believe I was sent a message by God through a sense of dizziness. Pray for us here in the US tomorrow. Evil will show itself in it's true form. But god has always triumphed over evil, he will do it forevermore.

I feel as if something terrible will happen tomorrow on July 4th, I believe I was sent a message by God through a sense of dizziness. Pray for us here in the US tomorrow. Evil will show itself in it's true form. But god has always triumphed over evil, he will do it forevermore.
