Bayraktar Kızılelma, the unmanned combat aircraft developed by Baykar, has left behind another important stage.
Kızılelma, the third and most advanced prototype, successfully performed the Night Taxi Test in preparation for its first flight. This test represents a critical step in the development process of the vehicle and shows that the aircraft can operate smoothly in night conditions.
The Night Taxi Test is an important stage in the development of an aircraft to test its ability to taxi on the runway under night conditions. This test is vital to check the vehicle's night vision capabilities, the effectiveness of the lighting systems and the accuracy of the pilot control systems. Kızılelma's successful completion of this test proves that it is suitable for night operations and will provide high reliability during night flights.
The third prototype of Kızılelma is equipped with more advanced features than previous versions.
Bayraktar Kızılelma will play an important role in Turkey's defence industry. The innovations in the third prototype will further enhance the operational capabilities of this unmanned combat aircraft and make significant contributions to the air power of the Turkish Armed Forces. Making it especially suitable for night operations will expand the use of Kızılelma as a versatile combat vehicle and strengthen Turkey's defence capabilities in the international arena.
