The Agera, and its many variants that dominated the previous decade as the world's highest top speed production car, has finally been succeeded by an even more space ship looking car in the form of the Jesko, named after Christian von Koenigsegg's father who provided his talented son with the startup funding to become one of the world's leading supercar manufacturers.
A 1/18 car make long reserved for only the most affluent high-end model car collectors, GT Spirit getting the license has made the brand available to the mid range collectors for the first time ever. So in this review let's take a look at how much Koenigsegg you are left with, if you subtract more than 250 dollars from the pricetag of a FrontiArt ...are you still left with a model worthy of a display shelf? LETS FIND OUT!
Pros:
- It's a 1/18 Koenigsegg Jesko that is only one third the price of the Autoart and one fourth the (out of stock) FrontiArt
- shape, proportions, ride height, interior detail level
- photoetched decals
Cons:
- sealed resin
- typical for GT Spirit, even the wheels don't roll (i think you can force them to roll by gently trying to spin them until the glue is broken, but I am not bold enough to try that)
- no carbon fibre decals anywhere except on two small air intakes on the roof
- engine isnt visible under the engine bay panel

The #251 on the side of the Koenigsegg Jesko is representing chassis #251 😊👍🏼
Looks pretty nice! I just wish the panels could be opened though. It looks sweet regardless. 😊👍🏼
GT Spirit & their lack of carbon fibre on all their models is very interesting to me. I've just started collecting models from this brand recently as well. You can look to Bburago who's started adding textured carbon on their supercar models which looks almost as good as a high end resin model. Even TSM/Top Speed who makes resin models prices only 30 quid more than the GT Spirit's all have fine carbon fibre decal. Its a mystery we may never know why they don't bother with adding it to models
i think early GT spirits from a couple years ago had them, e.g. on the M series BMWs but they must have dropped it at some point for cost cutting reasons, and yea, bburago/maisto have definitely improved on their carbon fibre texture quality in recent years. Especially the area around the engine on their latest ferraris and lambos, and the entire undercarriage has that sheen effect.

I worked at Koenigsegg and we were super sad over the FrontiArt quality at times as well over the carbon fibre (it was all in one side pattern instead of meeting in the middle in the front for instance of the hood). This has been fixed lately however@@ImperialDiecast
Hot Wheels has the Koenigsegg license and has produced 1/64 budget Koenigseggs
Hot Wheels Koenigseggs include
-Agera R
-Jesko Attack
-Gemera
Tarmac Works too
Recieved mine last week, now its time to get Gemera. I hope they will do Agera R and Regera
Looks great but the green accents and brake calipers looks off. On the Frontiart and real Jesko, the green is more of a bright neon green.
very good video with a lot of close shot to show the details. Well done!
Awesome review! I didn't know GT Spirit was making this one. It's great to see some other 1/18 brands making Koenigsegg models.
Thank you for adding so much info into the review, it really helps out in understanding more than just the car. U help us understand the brands and who makes so thank u
Does anybody know where I can find a 1:18 Koenigsegg die cast with doors and hood that can open??
Thanks really good review looking to get one for my collection 👍
oh my… it’s an absolute stunner!
Does the model's doors and hood open?
I have mine coming soon match perfect with my Regera, one:1 and the agrea rs which all from autoart
Look closely left side head light is with out the head bulb compared to the right.
if you mean 09:38, i just rechecked my model and it has all four headlight bulbs (two on each side) but the steep angle of the sunlight coming in from the top left hid the passenger side bulbs in that particular shot and prevented them from reflecting, making you think they werent there. what i did notice though upon rechecking, is that the passenger side headlight has vertical lines (grooves) along the "terraces" between the lamps, while the driver's side is missing them, at least the bottom one while the middle terrace has them barely visible..
Is this remote control, drag back or just a show piece?
resin model just for display.
great review full of informations as always ❤
Cool Koenigsegg Jesko
Very good review 🏆👍😊

Alright we have to talk... Did you start working out ?? I mean the Tevvez music makes me think that way
I. Buy but is 3900$
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Can You Roll It?
Yes, but you need to take model apart, and remove the glue that holds wheels in place.
