When I was very little, SDA missionaries would come tell us how GOD had delivered them from persucution. Im grateful for the teaching of the last days at that church.They told me people would do terrible things to us because we worshipped the Sabbath.
Their coming for anyone that holds fast to Jesus, but those early years definitely prepared me for today, and for that I am incredibly grateful.

Yes I think people can be really mean . Instead of disagreeing with us they say we see a cult and wrong. They don't understand anything about us 7th day adventists believers except what they hear on social media or someone has written about us or their own beliefs.

ohhhh!!!! i love mark and i started to follow him since 2005 when he was here in rwanda. from that time till now he is my mentor.
In the bible says in the old testament that for israel prosperity israel just have to don´t commit murder and things like that if israel do this in biblical context they receive from God prosperity and salvation the bible God never changes according to the bible so thinking that you only must be a good person and believe in God for being save is biblical. that´s the truth the bible says "God never changes"

When I was going to classes to become a member and be Baptised, the pastor gave me the book the great controversy and I couldn't put it down. Its sad that the library in my town doesn't have any of her books. The librarian looked online and nothing shows up. Love you and your commitment to saving many people. Pastor Mark Finely is a great teacher. Listening to him have allowed me and my husband to make some adjustments in our belief. May God bless and inspire you Pastor. The bible doesn't say we can't wear jewelry, we as followers of Christ need to be moderate in how we dress. You find that people wear expensive jewelry to show they are important. Why buy a $10,000 bracelet when there are soo many poor people that surrounds you? Wearing a ring or jewelry is not a sin when you do it in modesty. When you are married and wears a ring, it shows respect to your mate and saving someone from lustful sin. It's only people who wears expensive clothes and jewels to get attention, creates a problem in the church. Walking in righteousness and professing God's truth, determines you are and your true character when you are born again.

Dear p/r Mark the faithful servant of the living God, when we baptize our lives or our souls are hidden in Christ .when our LORD Jesus buried where was his soul wait until Sunday morning?because when our lives ends our souls goes where it came from. The Bible tells us man became a soul when God breathed life into Adams Nostrils (Genesis 2:7)
Man doesn't have immortality of himself, but Christ does (1 Timothy ch 6:15-16)
The Doctrine of Immortal Souls lines up perfectly with what The Serpent swayed Eve with:
Genesis 3:4: "And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:"
All false Religions share the doctrine of Immortal Souls,
If we read in-between the lines of John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish,
but have everlasting life."
Ezek 18:4: "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die."

At time stamp 40:50 regarding jewelry, it is my understanding 1 Timothy 2:9-10 is speaking with relation to women in public Worship. That when they worshiped they were to be dressed modestly as not to cause chatter and admiration or competitiveness between the women or to be a distraction from the purpose of Worship. I do believe that we should dress modestly in our walk with Christ and even more modestly when we attend Worship Service, the day is not to draw attention to our selves but to God The Father Creator and Jesus our Blessed Savior. Please correct me if I am misunderstanding this.❤️🙏🏻
Cynthia, you got that right. Paul talks about the adornment of women in church service. However, Peter applies the similar principle to women in general and not just worship service (1 Peter 3:1-4).

Pastor Finley, there are a lot of Adventist who wears not only wedding rings but, also earrings, necklaces, bracelet. Is it not wrong? Because these things you are idolizing it and proud of what you have in your body. I hate to see Adventist wearing such things. The Bible never mentioned that when we get married we have to wear rings. To me we are just following the sins of the ancient Israelites. How can you further this topic.

Yes he still does speak to people in dreams
Joel.2.28 - "And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.
Joel.2.29 - And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.
Joel.2.30 - "And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke.
Thanks for your comment. Yes, God can still speak through visions and dreams. But we must remember that whatever visions and dreams we may have must not contradict the scriptures. The Bible is our authority and whatever experiences that we have that leads us to a conclusion that contradicts the Bible, we know doesn't come from God.

Jesus is not making or supporting the Greek dichotomy between soul and body as separate entities. Jewish teaching did not think of persons as having souls separate from the body as Greek philosophy taught. Thus, here Jesus is using the term “soul” to mean “eternal life”: Do not fear those who can take you from this present life (body), but fear Him who can also take away eternal life (soul).
